Keep it light, try to reassure her.

“The place is well named.” You smile trying to reassure your date with a little humor, “Truth in advertising, I have to give them that.”

Kyle catches her breath and her indecisiveness disappears into that confident look which is her norm.

“My mother warned me about men like you.” Her witty backchat returns. “What do they say about doctors, 'always trying to operate.'”

“You're the one who violated my personal space.” You are pleased your date's fiery side is back, for moment you thought you might have actually offended her. “I might need a safe zone from your micro-aggressions.”

“Safe zone, huh? Micro-aggressions? Really.” She reaches down with her right hand and scoops up some water and throws it at you.

“Hey!” You try to shield yourself. “Keep you hands inside the vehicle at all times! Woman, there are rules!”

With catlike grace Kyle slides back right next to you, going side to side. “I don't like rules.” She firmly states while reaching behind and taking your right hand and placing it around her shoulder. “But, I do appreciate a gentleman.”

She looks around at the diorama you are currently floating through. It's a scene of multicolored winged rabbits juggling oysters, chocolates, and cherries among themselves as they sing in Italian.

“Do you have any idea what the heck is actually going on with this ride?” Kyle asks.

“None.” You answer equally perplexed. “I could google it if you really . . . Oww!”

Kyle gives you a shift elbow shot to your ribs and then snuggles into your side to enjoy the rest of the ride.
