Chapter 8 by Altu5g Altu5g

Your mom, Sierra, or someone else entirely?

Keep it in the family

No one was in the kitchen, but yoh heard your mother' s voice from the living room. Suddenly the ring felt heavier. You crept forward, her tones getting closer and closer as she chatted to her work friend Clair about Haley's gift. A spa appointment for this afternoon, complete with massage and free wine. Clair would be arriving to pick her up in an hour or so. My interest suddenly became peaked as she talked on, unaware of my presence.

You weighed my options carefully, rolling the ring around in your palm with your thumb.

On the one hand, your mother was undoubtedly deserving of this wonderful spa day. Possessing her and taking that from her would certainly make you feel guilty. Not to mention the idea of...her body. You shuddered slightly at the thought of her breasts weighing on your chest like Sierra's did.

Then again... A spa day sounded quite nice. You'd never been to a spa before, nor have you gotten a massage. Wasn't the purpose of these rings to try new things out? No one would know her at the spa, and if you could fool Clair, you'd go unnoticed.

Would you be daring or a kind son?

...

"Hey Mom, sorry to interrupt, but I got your Mother's Day gift. Thank you so much for everything," you said with a genuine smile as you gave her a tight hug. Once you broke it, you extended you hand and show off the white gem ring in its pearly glory. "Whattya think?" You asked with an excited smile.

Your mom gave you a slightly confused look for a second, her mind taking longer to process your words being still concentrated on her conversation with Clair. But as soon as the words come through, a huge grateful smile forms on her face.

"Jean! You're so sweet!" She says with a look of genuine joy. You worried for a second there that she might get disappointed with such a gift compared to what Hayley got her, but she wasn't that kind of person. It was very clear she loved you both dearly, which made you feel a little bad about taking advantage of her like that. Either way, you already managed to justify it to yourself, and it wasn't like you could take the ring back.

She was quick to take the ring off of your hands and held it up in front of her face, letting it shimmer in the light. It glowed magnificently, which made you feel better about your choice of gift. "It's beautiful honey!" She smiled, quickly grabbing the side of your face and giving you a big ol' smooch on the cheek. She gave you one last smile before sliding the ring on her left hand's middle finger, much to your content. Right next to her wedding ring.

Your smile quivered as you saw your mother's face light up. You loved her deeply and suddenly this felt like an awful idea. A cruel theft of your mother's freedom for some cheap curiousity. You weren't even interested in some of the more...perverted endeavors one could use this pendant for, and most certainly not with your mother's body. Sierra on the other hand...

You shook my head to clear those thoughts for now. All of that would come with patience. For now, you had quite the emotional dillemma. You'd just given away one of the five rings for the future, and not using it...the idea of not using the ring brought back that familiar tug in your chest. Yoy began to have doubts. Surely she'd feel even better, and the sensations would carry over. Or she'd dream of what she felt. There wasn't really any way to be sure, but your urge to take over clawed at any logic thread it could to justify this.

You waved at her silently before leaving towards the kitchen, motioning that she can continue her conversation with Clair, clutching the pendant resting on your chest as you did so. The package was planted, and now could you become another person, but you had a choice between two completely different women. But should you?

Your doubt carried you back up the stairs, through the hall and past your sister's door. The sounds of worry and concern had died down. Perhaps they were consoling her more quietly? Or Sierra had moved past the feelings you left her with? Your curiousity was growing feverish as you stepped into your room and gently shut the door.

Slowly you took off my outfit for the day, folding it and leaving yourself dressed in a bathrobe down to your knees. The three remaining rings sat on my desk, the medallion tucked underneath said robe. A pair of boxers covered me beneath the robe and as you got into bed and stared at the ceiling, it took a second to get comfy. You felt a a twang of guilt as you put your thumbs to the medallion. "Fuck it," you muttered to your, unable to fight your urges. "Happy Mother's Day."

With those words the medallion clicked onto the white gem, and in a mere moment darkness surrounded you again.

Did it work?
