Keep going

Albeit they met their quota, there was no reason to already go back. Why should they, when they could just keep the money rolling in? After all it wasn't like they had that much cash on hand, and earning more was always good.
Therefore, after collecting the loot the Pink Lilies cleaned up the corpses and put their things down, deciding to eat lunch here in this clearing before resuming the wandering.

Ryu got some branched as firewood, Lia lit them up and Fira prepped up the meat from a wild game they previously caught.
As for Niah'la, she was happy munching on her Vananas while watching on as the others got lunch ready.

The break didn't last that long, but in between a bite and another, with some small chatter our Pink Lilies relaxed after the fight, reading themselves for another outing deeper in the woods.

The following trip in the forest wasn't as productive as the morning one though. Maybe they were just too lucky to meet a group so soon in their trip, maybe there weren't as many babooches as expected, but fact was that they wasted almost four hours without any real result.

Their stale trip gained some colour though as they spotted a nice stream of water leading into a crystal clear small pond surrounded by high and dense trees, the few rays of light passing through reflecting upon the water surface into a myriad of colours... an almost magical sight, fine enough for the group to unanimously decide to take a break here.
