Kay finds Gen alone at home.

Kay returned home to find Gen sitting quietly in the living room, "Gen," she said in the tongue of their homeland, causing him to jump, "are you alright?" she finished as she took her top off and hung it beside the door.

Gen trotted over to his wife and kissed her softly on the lips, "I'm fine, just had a very interesting night. I'm sorry we fell asleep without helping you," he apologised.

"Absolutely no need, I don't think I have ever seen you have such a powerful orgasm, it was very nice to watch," Kay said, "and, it gave me a chance to catch up with an old friend."

Gen laughed, "By the look of those scratches, I take it Tar is on this world?" he queried.

Kay nodded, "It was a very enjoyable evening with Tar, and his roommate, in case you are wondering, it appears that there are a number of humans who have interests more in line with ours."

Gen smiled, "Well that is interesting. But you enjoyed reconnecting with Targar Averin?" Gen asked, using Tar's formal and full name.

Kat stepped closer, "Oh my dear husband, you know you are my committed," Kay explained. "It is much like you and Jan, you already care for her I know, but you are not intending on committing." Gen turned his head to the side, "Oh my," Kay said, "Oh my love I am so happy for you," she said in genuine glee. "Does she feel similarly?"

Gen's smile turned flat, "I think one proposal is enough."

Kay agreed, "For a human that is probably correct, but you also have to consider our daughter. I think she has eyes of commitment to at least one of our new neighbours."

"I know," Gen said, "it is the only reason I didn't confess my intentions last night."

Kay hugged Gen close, "I am so happy for you and will support you in your decisions, you know that?" she asked.

"I do, and you haven't thought of Steve that way?" he asked her.

Kay laughed, "Oh certainly no. I think he is lovely and attentive, and if we desired another child I would not be opposed to Steve being the father, but commitment?" she stepped closer to Gen. "No, I would commit to Tar before Steve, and you know that I am not interested in that." She embraced Gen, "I hope that you find happiness in this though, I truly do."

They cuddled for several moments before either of them spoke again. “I think you need to tell me all about last night and what you felt,” Kay said, “I want to experience the sensations you are.”

Gen smiled at his life partner, they had been committed for so many years now, and she always supported him. “And you need to tell me about your night, as I think in the near future you will have more attentions than I.”

Kay laughed, “I think that is possible, but you are interested in commitment, and I want to hear all about that.”
