Miss Vicksen felt a scream swell up within her, set to burst at the top of her lungs. But all she could muster was a pitiful squeak, right before a separate voice took the words right out of her mouth.
“Oh. My. God!”
Katrina’s feigned concern came calling from the doorway, picking the ripped skirt from within its hinges.
“I am SOO sorry! I had no idea your dress was caught in there!” Katrina continued to lie through her teeth, “Honest to god Olivia, I wouldn’t even wish this on my worst enemy. I mean really, having the whole school see you in your UNDERWEAR? Oh my gosh, I would just die! Especially wearing a little pink pair so teensy-tiny like these! My goodness, now THAT would be embarrassing!”
Olivia could only manage to grind her teeth in response, as Katrina painfully recapped her whole situation.
“And- Wait. Oh my... Now what do we have here!?” Katrina continued in a mocking tone, eyeing Miss Vicksen’s waistband, “I think I see a little something you forgot about!”
The teacher’s eyes widened, fearfully realizing what Katrina must’ve found.
“Ha, wow Olivia, and I thought you of all people would be a little more fashion-conscious. But don’t worry! I’ll take care of this pesky tag for you...”
Katrina said while leaning in close, pinching her fingers together.
“...just returning the favor, remember?”
