Katie

Author's note: this chapter ties into the story A Cutie Futa Vampire's Balls.

That afternoon I get a few wreaths to place at the graves of Katie and her family and that evening I dress in a simple black dress and sandals without makeup on and head to the cemetery. I've done this several times already.

When I arrive I notice two people with their backs turned to me already at the graves. One is a blonde woman and the other is a short brunette girl. They too are dressed in black.

I approach them." Excuse me, hello. Are you members of the family?" When they turn to face me I can't believe my eyes! "KATIE! No you can't be!" I remember going to the morgue with her mother! I remember her funeral! This isn't someone who looks like her. It is her!

She looks at me nervously and the blonde woman stays silent. "Um, hello Jennifer." She shuffles her feet." Katie it is you! How!" The woman she's with introduces herself as Cassandra and then excuses herself so Katie and I can talk.

I can't believe it, she's alive! She looks over at the woman and she nods her head to Katie as if to give her permission to tell me a secret. Did she fake her ****? No that can't be it. I saw the body.

"First Jennifer you can't tell anyone you saw me, not your mom, no one can know about this. Not that they would believe you." She adds." I'm gonna show you something and you have to promise me you won't freak out, okay." I promise her I won't say a word or freak out. But if truth be told I'm already a bit freaked out. It's like a dream.

Katie takes a few steps back and then stands still. Then poof where she was standing there's now a bat hovering. I watch as the bat flies around and then hovers again. Then poof the bat is Katie again. Then she shows me her fangs. Jesus Christ! She's a vampire!! Okay I'm in my bed right now and I'm dreaming this. Right?

For the next hour Katie tells me everything . About Cedric the vampire who turned and abandoned her. About her rise from the grave and about how her mother reacted and helped her out. About their life in Arizona. Lastly she tells me how Cassandra, a fellow vampire has mentored her and has been like a second mother to her.

This is just too bizarre. She smiles. " well, that's what I've been up too. How have you been?" I tell her about my jobs and how I got my car finished and about Zoe." Really can I see the car, did you drive it here?" "Sure Katie it's parked right over here." The three of us walk to the car." Wow Jennifer the paint job and interior look great!"

We talk a bit longer then hug and say are goodbyes. Then her and Cassandra turn into bats and fly away. When I get home I honestly don't know how to feel or what to think. The futa who has been my friend since childhood is now a vampire. I do know one thing. Her secret is safe with me.
