Katie's Embarrassment in Science

Science was never a strong suit of Katie's. It's not that she was bad at it, she just didn't have interest. Today was a lab day, which led to Katie drifting in and out as her teacher walked everyone through his "Proper Lab Safety" speech.

She had almost fallen asleep when he announced that it was time to begin.

"Oh no!" thought Katie. "I didn't pay attention to what we were supposed to do!"

She looked around quickly to what everyone else was doing to see that they were lighting bunsen burners and mixing some chemicals that were set out on the tables. She would just have to wing it.
