Kathy AND her book club

It wasn’t just Kathy. It was also Carol’s entire book club. The women stood there eagerly. “Hello, Carol,” Sharon said. “We realized we didn’t get much book talking in the other day. So we wanted a spontaneous meeting where we discussed it. May we come inside?”

Carol’s eyes darted to Kathy who had a devious smile on her face. “B-but why is K-Kathy here?”

“Didn’t I tell you?” Kathy said with a chuckle. “I joined the book club. I thought I mentioned it when I came over yesterday.”

“M-must have slipped your mind. L-look now’s not a good time,” Carol said.

Kathy smirked. “Carol, you’ll let us in this instant. You know what happens to naughty girls. I’d hate to do it on the spot. Right now.”

Carol squirmed not sure what to do.
