Katherine does the walk of shame

The crowd files out of the elevator leaving you and the sisters inside. While most head for the exit, a few straggle behind, including Trevor with his cell phone ready to snap more pics. Katherine waits for you to lead the way out.

“After you,” you insist.

“But, I don’t know where your car is…” Katherine says.

“That’s fine, we’ll take your ride,” you reply.

“But… I took the bus…” Katherine utters, going pale.

You grin, “I guess we’re taking the bus then! After you…”

Katherine’s face is frozen in a state of horror. Sabrina gives her a helpful nudge to start moving and slowly she trudges out of the elevator and into the apartment lobby. She darts her head back toward Sabrina and Emma, but they stay back, leaving her on her own. Dejected, Katherine marches on in a trancelike state while Trevor and a few others snap pics of her naked body, capturing every angle as she passes by. She is practically trembling, with nothing to hold onto for security until she reaches the door. She clutches the bar for dear life, breathing heavily and holding back tears. It is a pane glass windowed door and she can see the throngs of people bustling about in the early afternoon summertime sun.

“Hey, at least you don’t have to worry about tan lines,” Sabrina teases in her ear.

Katherine takes a deep breath and composes herself before pushing the door open.

The bright sun beats down on all of you as you exit Sabrina’s apartment. You can feel the warm rays on your face and can see it reflecting off Katherine’s exposed body. It seems to almost glow off her porcelain skin. The crowds immediately take notice of the spectacle as well. Passersby stop to gawk. A group of girlfriends chat among themselves about the display and giggle at their private conversation. Cars slow down, nearly causing accidents. Everyone stares at Katherine while she walks to the corner for the bus stop.

It is an excruciating ten minute wait for Katherine until the bus finally arrives. It is only partially filled with passengers, but practically everyone looks up and stares at the petite brunette nudist that just boarded. The bus driver gives her a long look as she climbs up the steps. You wait to see if he kicks her off because of her nudity, but he seems content with her on board.

Katherine tucks herself into a window seat and tries to cover up.

“That’s my seat!” Sabrina tells her.

“What?”

“As the loser, you have to sit where we tell you,” Sabrina reasons. “Right, John?|

“Sure,” you agree half-committally.

“But you lost too!” Katherine argues.

“I’m not the one with no clothes on,” Sabrina points out, tugging the spaghetti strap of her sundress. She then shoos Katherine off the passenger seat and takes it herself. You take the long bench seat near the front. Emma fills out the seat with Sabrina on it. Katherine looks around for another spot to sit. All the other seats are occupied with at least one passenger, so she would have to sit next to one of them.

“You can stand by the pole,” Sabrina tells her. Katherine turns to you for confirmation and you give the nod. She sighs and hugs the pole, trying to ignore all the stares in her direction.

You check your phone app for directions to the hotel. It looks like it will take a while.
