Kate wakes up in a haze...

Oh shit...its so bright, and my head is pounding! I just want to roll over but wait..this isn't my pillow and this isn't my bed. The night events start rushing back into a hazy dream sequence. The last thing I remember is coming in to Larry's house, sitting on the couch and getting my first real french kiss. The thought put a Smile on Kate's face. But why does my head hurt so much and why is my bathing suit half off and what is this sticky stuff all over me? Kate spots a clock on the wall...OMG!!!! Its 7:15 am and I have to be at work at 8:00! Kate slips her bathing suit over her wet sticky chest and runs out by the pool that looks a mess with trash and solo cups all over the yard. She hops into her car and gets home, no time for a shower, she just splashes her face gets dress and heads out the door with a pounding headache.

Kate runs across the parking lot and through the lobby at 8:10 and flops down at her desk. A few minutes later Cindy from HR walks by and says...Kate, we start at 8:00 not 8:10 and she looks at Kate in her rushed state with her pants and untucked shirt and hair all over the place and just shakes her head and walks away.

Kate gets to work immediately by herself. Larry is nowhere to be found then at 11:30 she heard his voice as we walks through the office. He walks past Cindy who looks at her watch, gives him a big smile and says "must have been a fun night". Larry just looks at her and smiles and says "I'll never tell".

Larry walks by Kate and asks if she had a good time last night? "Ah...I did. I guess I had a little too much to drink, I'm sorry, I'm not use to drinking and I hope I didn't make a fool of myself?" Larry assured her that she didn't and told her that he helped her to a spare room to sleep it off. "Thanks, that was nice of you". Larry asked if she wanted to grab some lunch. "I'm starved but you just got here?" Larry said, "yeah, don't worry about that, lets eat".

At lunch Larry was a perfect gentleman, pulling out a chair, ordering and paying for lunch. Larry said, "I know you were a little tipsy but I wanted to know if you remembered when I kissed you?" Kate started to blush and quietly said, I do remember that but thats the last thing I remember. Larry looked her in her pretty blue eyes and said, "I'd like to do that again sometime if its okay with you." Kate just blushed some more and nodded. She felt like she was finally gonna have the boyfriend that she always wanted.

Back at the office that afternoon Kate saw Tracy dressed very professionally and she looked more striking and a little older than the night before. She was surprised to see her and said "I didn't know you worked here?". Tracy looked at Kate and said, "Yes, I'm Larry's dads Administrative Assistant". Then Tracy looked at her and said "you better get back to work, maybe I'll see you later". Tracy then went over to a few other ladies and started chatting. Kate was on her knees filing when she heard Tracy and the other ladies chuckling while they were looking at Tracy's phone. Kate was oblivious and just kept working when one of the ladies, Jill walked over to Kate and said, "Hey Honey, I think you have something in your hair". Kate felt the back of her head and it felt like a clump of something must have got in her hair and dried up. Jill walked back to the other ladies and they all chuckled again. Apparently one of the guys from the night before left her a present in her hair and she never noticed it.

Another lady Claire from Accounting saw what was going on. Claire was a bit heavy set and bookish looking. She walked over to Kate and introduced herself and warned Kate that those ladies can be jerks and she should probably stay away from them, especially Tracy, She's one of Mr. Givens Assistants and her main job is to keep an eye on his son, Larry and make sure he stays out of trouble. Claire had no idea what happened the night before and now Kate was a little torn. What would Larry do that would cause trouble, he was so nice to her. Kate was about to get an [education.

At the end of the day, Larry told Kate that he was going out with some friends after work but maybe he could pick her up later and go for a ride, maybe get some ice cream or something. Kate smiled and said, "I think that would be nice, I'll give you my number." Larry just smiled and said, "no need, I have your number, I'll call you". As Kate was finishing up work and leaving she saw Larry by Tracy and the other ladies looking at Tracy's phone again and laughing. They didn't notice Kate as they all laughed and walked out together. Were they the friends he was going out with?
