Kari distracts Dilandra while Linda sneaks out to investigate.

Entering the science building was easier than we expected. The guards let Dilandra in with us as guests and the living quarters were monitored by passcards. Dilandra's room was not unlike what I've had to live in for the academy. A sparse room with a bed and work table. There was a corner with a computer and a room at the far end which I suspected was the washroom. I didn't see any kitchen around so assume they had a communal cafeteria. While I assessed the room layout, Dilandra was digging up a spare robe for Kari.

Kari unraveled her outfit and stood naked before us. I noticed the gleam of interest in Dilandra's eyes when the ensign revealed herself. She held out the clean garment for Kari to put on. I was beginning to feel like a third wheel. There was an obvious tension between Kari and the scientist.

"You know, if you want to wait, I could probably get your clothes cleaned and dried for you," Dilandra offered, bundling up the soiled fabric. She sucked in her bottom lip as her gazed didn't stray from Kari's body. Looks like Kari's well toned body was our foot in the door.

Kari had started wrapping the clean fabric around her body when she turned to Dilandra and asked, "How long would that take?"

"Maybe ten, fifteen minutes?" Dilandra responded as she stared at the patterned half circles on the ensign's skin. She murmured, "Unfortunately I have to check in on my station. But, I can step out and get them back to you without anyone noticing."

Kari sat on the bed and smiled, "We don't mind waiting." I quickly nodded and smiled.

Dilandra smiled too. She held Kari's up to her chest and slipped out the door, turning to say, "Just wait here, I'll be back in a bit..."

We were left alone in the room.

"Well, that was convenient," I said.

Kari darted toward the computer. She scanned through the database. "Any idea what name I should be looking for?" she asked.

"Try looking for where initiates quarters are," I suggested.

Kari accessed the computer, "Found it! The latest two assignments were from the last week, so they must be the captain and lieutenant. Zelpa wing... that's left, down the hall, right and straight..."

"What about passkeys?" I asked, looking over her shoulder.

"Only needed for entering the building. Once inside, we're allowed to roam the public hallways." Kari replied after looking over the computer some more.

I memorized the map. "Alright, I got it, let's go."

"You go, I'll stay," Kari said. I looked to Kari with a quirked eyebrow. Kari explained, "If Dilandra comes back and finds both of us gone, she's going to get suspicious, but if I sent you away for us to be alone..." she unraveled her sheet and reclined on the bed in a very inviting sultry pose. I nodded. It was a good enough excuse if Kari was going to go through with entertaining the girl while I was away. Before, I would have bawked at this type of subterfuge, but after the week playing escort, it seemed to work for me. Kari remained undressed, sprawled on the bed to await our host's return. I stepped out of the room and thought back to the map as I traced out the steps on foot.
