Karai escapes, but without the sword.

The ninja and the superhero clashed blades, unable to land a hit on each other.

Karai's years of training and mutated musculature would have given her the edge of her opponent were a regular human. While Ryuko was a human under the suit, her miraculous gave her strength, speed and stamina far above a normal person's threshold.

Not to mention her sword was just as magical at the rest of her, swinging the sword with enough **** that Karai's blade snapped in half. The kunoichi looked at her sword in shock before she felt a red boot slam into her stomach, knocking her down. The tip of Ryuko's blade pointed at her neck.

"You've lost villain. Surrender."

Karai gave her a disbelieving look. Both at the rather corny line she had just delivered and the ease in which this bright red stranger had dispatched her. Of course by then, she had snuck a bomb of blinding powder in her hand and crushed it in her fist.

"How about we call it a draw."

Before Ryuko could react, her masked face was assaulted with a white powder, feeling as though she had been maced as she desperately tried rubbing it out.

"Wind Dragon," Ryuko shouted.

The trio of dots on her chest glowed before her body exploded in a cloud before converting to a gale of intense indoor winds. Kara's hair whipped from the intense storm that expanded and contracted in the room and knew that the mission was a bust. She could get the sword some other day.

Ryuko reformed, her eyes still irritated but free of the powder, and found that the ninja had escaped. She saw that the sword the thief had come to procure was still safe in its case.
