KAMI NO!!!

“KAMI! NO!!!”Cindy shouted the moment you stepped through the door. You didn’t have a chance to react as a blow caught you squarely in the gut. You grunted and doubled over as you had all the wind knocked from your lungs. A blow between the shoulders sent you tumbling. Your forward momentum carried you back to your feet. Your eyes grew wide as you saw the corner of the front table appear out of nowhere. There was nothing you could do but watch as it caught you just above the navel and disappear into the firm flesh of your belly.

You cried out as you bounced off the table. It came out more of a wheeze than a scream since you hadn’t had time to draw a breath since the first punch. A double blow high on the chest sent you tumbling backwards. You were sure whether what you saw were stars or the lights as you rolled backwards into the teacher’s desk. Your head slammed into the metal side of the desk as you rolled backwards and to your feet. Your knees were wobbly as you leaned against the desk. The edge was cold against your thighs. Grabbing the edge, you tried to draw a breath, the first breath since you entered the room. You didn’t get a chance.

You were positive that you were seeing double as you spotted you attacker approach. Knees grabbed you by the waist. Momentum shoved you onto the top of the desk. You automatically reached backward to steady yourself. You realized you hadn’t been seeing double when a second set of legs wrapped about your chest. The legs **** your arms underneath you. Stars exploded before your eyes when your head hit the desktop. You felt a weight grind back and forth before it settled on your hips. You groaned when you were finally able to draw your first breath since entering the room. Then darkness fell.
