Just when Lauren thinks things can't get more humiliating...

Lauren grumpily took a beer from the cooler and muttered angrily to herself, wondering how this day could get any worse. She had just popped the can open and was about to take a sip when a loud siren sounded out, causing her to yelp and drop her beer in surprise as the party came to a stop.

Everyone soon turned their attention to a police boat heading right towards them, the policewoman on board not looking too happy. Lauren gulped in fear, to stunned to move. Surely she would be arrested!

"Is there a problem, Officer?" Brittney asked nervously, the rest of the party being equally as nervous as her when the boat came to a stop.

The policewoman removed her sunglasses and looked Brittney in the eyes, unamused. "I got a report earlier about a loud disturbance on the lake, so I was going to ask if you folks could tone down the music and partying a tad." She explained. She then looked around the party boat before adding, "But now I'm curious why you folks weren't going to stop a minor from drinking ****. Or stop her from running around starkers."

This confused the party for a few seconds. Nobody here had kids, and they certainly wouldn't bring one to a party like this.

Lauren was equally confused as she looked around for this kid in question. However, as soon as she saw the policewoman gesture towards her, she, along with the other party members on the boat, finally connected the dots. Lauren turned scarlet. She was actually mistaken by someone for being too young to drink?!

The rest of the party tried their best to hold in their laughter at the this misunderstanding. Brittney, meanwhile, merely turned to Lauren, a wicked grin slowly appearing on her face...
