Just pretend like none of this ever happened

"Right now, Sheila..." You tell the regretful amazon. "I just want you to try and forget what's happened between us. You see, what noone else will ever know about, will stay our own secret, right?"

"But... There was hundreds of your goblins watching us...!" She objects, but tries to wipe her eyes of tears at least. "Or have you forgotten already...?"

"I'll never forget!" You smile, and pat her on the head. "But do you think your sisters will ever talk to my goblins? Even if they did, they wouldn't trust them much, nor be asking what's happened to you. Especially if you've already safely made it back to your home?"

"Well, you're right..." She mumbles, while looking a little embarrassed. "But... I can't ever look to the eyes of my mother, nor Reeza - my love, without giving away what's happened to me..."

"But I'm asking you to try at least." You're quick to insist, helping her back to her feet again. "For the best of all of us! Because I need you to go there, and tell them we can live in peace! Allthough... I'm sorry for what I did to you..."

"Please, don't...!" She objects, and surprises you with a sudden smile. "Don't regret it...! I told you, I... quite enjoyed it..."

"I'd call that a fortunate coincidence..." You smile in return, but then try agan to get her on her way. "I'll have my warriors guide you out of the village, and then I'm certain you'll find your way. There's a pond where you can refresh yourself, not far from here. And I'll send some rations with you so that you won't have to starve..."

"You're so kind for a goblin..." She whispers, then lean down to give you a hug, before allowing you to escort her back out of your tent. You'd almost expected her to want to stay the night by now, at least to get her some rest, but all of a sudden she seems even more vigorous and alive than the first time you saw her. "Thank you, Vehemut..."

And then she's gone, led away by your guards, but you can see her turning to look at you several times before she disappears out of sight. Then finally you can return to your tent again, to start planning for the future, and when you eventually fall asleep you find yourself dreaming of human women - all of them bending to your slightest whim.

Then, a few days later, you recieve word of another woman who's been found on the outskirts of your village. Wondering who it could be, you order that she be treated with greatest care, and delivered to the front of your tent.
