Just leave as fast as you can

You quickly rush to the front door feeling the need to get away but as you approach the front door you remember that there is still a horde of zombies out there. So you rush to the back door but as you get there you hear some noises from a few rooms back. Now feeling that your in actual danger you open the back door and run out to the garden.

At the end of the garden you see that there is a gate but as you run towards it you can see that it is rusted shut. Feeling a burst of energy you shove yourself into the gate as hard as you can which breaks the old gate off of its hinges. It turns out that the gate leads into a back lane that spans across the whole street. Which way will you go?
