Chapter 24

What now?
Just go to sleep.
You brush your teeth, put on your pajamas and go to bed, still wondering about what went wrong in the conversation with Dave earlier. Your husband is sleeping quite obviously remote on his side of the bed, a clear sign that he sulks and does not want any contact. You decide to leave it at that. Maybe you can make another effort tomorrow.
Sleep does not come easy. Your mind is plagued with the possible conspiracy of housemaids. Then again, now with some distance, you also wonder if, indeed, this is maybe all just silly and you fell way too easily for it. Maybe you should do more research tomorrow. Or, maybe, it's simply time to get back to work and focus on your actual job instead of hunting ghosts.
You finally fall asleep.
Next morning, you find Dave still sleeping, still on his side of the bed.
You get up and shower, and walk down the stairs to the kitchen. The maid, as always, has set the table, but is nowhere to be seen. You take the sight of the splendid, sumptuous breakfast, sit down, eat your toast, eggs and some fruits, drink fresh orange juice and a cup of coffee.
You leave for the office.
What's next?
Happy Maid
You are a young woman who tries to escape a conspiracy. And it all starts with a new brand of house maids.
In a maybe not so distant future, the "Happy Maid" brand is everywhere. But do couples really know what lies in store for them when they order a housemaid? You play a young wife who soon finds out that the innocent, harmless "Happy Maid" is actually subverting your life and slowly starts to control your mind. You must prevent the evil scheme in your own house to save your marriage, your husband... and your freedom.
