Just for Laughs

As soon as Isabella pulled the collar out of the box, Lily quickly snatched it from her hand.

“This has got to be the ugliest piece of jewelry I’ve ever seen.” Lily laughed at the mere sight of the device. “Like, what kind of necklace is this bulky? And don’t get me started on that silly little gem…it’s just horrid, right?”

“Definitely!” Isabella said in agreement. She and Lily were barely close, so having a good laugh at this piece of garbage would definitely improve their relationship. “No self-respecting human would dare wear that.”

“No self-respecting human, eh?” Lily said with a wide grin. She walks over to her dresser, grabbing her purse that rested on top of it. She sticks her hand in her bag, and pulls it out as soon as she gets ahold of a coin. “Tell ya what, I’ll flip a coin. One of us would have to wear that collar depending on whichever side the coin lands on.”

Isabella laughs at the notion, only to see Lily not laughing with her. “Oh my gosh, you’re serious.” Isabella said in disbelief. “No. Nope, I’m not agreeing to that.”

“It’s just for laughs. Just call it.”

Isabella thought about it for a minute, only to nod and say “Fine. But we’re not leaving the room…got it?”

“Got it.” Lily said with a smile. “Now, which side do you want?”

“Heads.”

“Kay, that makes me tails.”

Lily flipped the coin, only to be shocked at the result. “Two outta three?”

“Nope.” Isabella said smugly. “Just put the collar on…”

“Ugh. Fine.” Lily placed the collar around her neck, and clasped it. “Happy?”

“Y’know, you look kinda cute in that collar…it really suits you.” Isabella teased.

“Very funny…” Lily then walked over to Isabella’s bed, and plunked down beside her.

“Um…aren’t you a little too close?” Isabella awkwardly chuckled. “You know you have your own bed, right?”

“I know…” Lily scooting closer to Isabella. “I just feel like sitting next to you…” She then rested her hand on her roommate’s thigh. “And this feels so right to me…” Lily said while licking her lips.

“Knock it off Lily. If you want to take off the collar that badly, then just do it alright?” Isabella said, trying to back away. “You’re really starting to freak me out…”

“Why would I ever want to take the collar off?” Lily responded while moving her hand up Isabella’s body.
