Just be straightforward with her

An internal debate struggled in Scott for a few seconds, before he finally just decided to get it out.

"All right, Tanya, let's sit down. This is gonna be a bit difficult for me to explain, so I beg of you, hear me out before you make any judgments." The duo sat down on the bed, Scott not even bothered by the black girl's half-nakedness. Scott's eyes stayed locked on hers the entire time.

"The truth is, I haven't had a lot of male friends in my life. For some bizarre reason, I've always gotten along better with girls. Some - okay, lots of 'em - saw me as a brother-figure, for the most part. But I've always been able to pick up on whether or not they REALLY care about me, or they're just using me as a combination bartender/therapist.

"In some respects, I think that's why Kerri and I got along so great. When we were 10, she wasn't into 'typical' girlie things; she was more of a fan of the Metal Gear series of games, Joan Jett, and British comedies. Like myself, she was a bit of an outsider. I wouldn't call her a tomboy, but she was at the tomboy border, at least.

"The problem was, she was more than just a friend to me; many people occasionally thought we were brother and sister. That may have been why we never became an item; the idea of being more than merely friends felt a bit strange to us.

"When we first met when you came in, I know I was pretty casual about mentioning the size of my dick. That wasn't bragging; I was trying to explain that while other guys try to go overboard to prove how 'manly' they are, I don't feel the need to do so. That confidence has helped me out a lot of times in life.

"It's just that, with you, I feel a bit different. I've always hoped to meet a girl who I can get along with, who's funny, beautiful, kind... somebody I'd never want to get separated from. This isn't just because you were the first girl I've ever been physically intimate with; this is the cold hard truth. Like I said, I have a bit of an instinct for these sorts of things. Tanya, I love you. I know we've only known each other for less than a day, but it's true: I love you sincerely."

Scott finally stopped talking, catching his breath. Getting all of this out in the open was like exorcising a dangerous creature. The only question was, what would result from his actions?
