Just a little warning

"Well, I'm sure you want to know why I'm here. A couple things. Firstly, don't lose the book or let someone else take it. As you guessed, that could end badly" she said.

"I kinda figured that part out... What would happen if I lost it?"

Ria just stared at him

"I don't think you want the answer to that."

Jaune looked back at her with concern. He couldn't tell if she was serious or just messing with him, but he was concerned either way.

"Second. Just so you know, there are now some people the book... Let's say won't work on."

"Won't... Work on? Why not?"

Ria shrugged

"It's part of me being here. Some people are excluded from its effects. These exclusions are probably temporary, but don't overthink it if it happens. Figure I'd warn you now so that you aren't banking on the Note bailing you out of everything. And third.... I have a little surprise for you."

"I tend not to like your surprises..." Jaune sighed

"you seem to like the book well enough."

Jaune threw his hands up in surrender. That part was true.

"Fine. Whats this surprise..?"
