Why is Michelle still here?
Just a Girl and her Master
I stare at Michelle is disbelief. I can't believe she didn't leave like everyone else. I mean, I'm not the user of the Random Remote anymore, so she shouldn't obey me, right? Am I missing something? She's certainly still acting submissive to me...
"You're still my ****?" I ask.
"Huh? What do you mean? Of course I'm your ****, Master. I pledged myself to you forever," Michelle says like it's the most obvious thing in the world. "Is there a reason you think I wouldn't be your ****?"
My oldest sister seems genuinely concerned, as if the thought of not belonging to me is stressing her out. She reaches up and nervously fidgets with her collar. Wait a second...
"Your collar!" I shout in realization.
"What about it, Master? Is something wrong with it?" Michelle asks, now even more worried.
"No. I didn't mean... er... well..."
"You're scaring me, Master. Is something going on? Does this have something to do with why everyone left?" Michelle asks.
I probably shouldn't have said that out loud... but I finally pieced it together! The reason Michelle is still obeying me. It's because of her collar! Or more specifically, it's because of her last attribute. I can't remember the exact wording since I don't have the remote on me, but it was something about permanently becoming the **** of the first person she accepted a collar from. Her enslavement isn't tied to the user of the remote like a lot of other attributes are. Which means that Michelle is still completely under my control. She might be the only one at this point...
"M-Master? Are you okay? You haven't said anything in awhile," Michelle meekly points out.
"Oh, sorry, Michelle. I'm just thinking about stuff. I kind of have a lot on my mind right now," I reply.
"Is it related to all the weird stuff going on? I've been trying to figure out why everyone suddenly wants to leave out of nowhere, but no one will tell me. First, it was Rose, then Bianca. Even Julia and Liz insisted that they can't stay here anymore. Now you come home, all freaked out, but you won't explain why. I just want to know what happened to my family..." Michelle begs.
Ever word Michelle says hits me harder and harder. They really are all gone. And it's all my fault. I start thinking about just how many women I've used the remote on. I spent time with those women, and I came to appreciate each and every one of them. But just like that, I lost them. Who knows what's going to happen now? What the hell am I supposed to do? It's not like I can just go on with my life like nothing's wrong. I promised that I would take care of these people. I feel a whirlpool of emotion spiral around me as I lose my grip on reality.
"Please, Master, talk to me. I want to help you, but I can't if you don't tell me what's going on. You know I'll do anything I can to-"
"Just shut up already!" I scream.
I immediately regret raising my voice. I look back at Michelle to see her visibly shaking. Her mouth is hanging open slightly and she looks like she might start crying again. Clearly she wasn't expecting my sudden outburst. Honestly, neither was I.
"I... I'm sorry, Michelle. I didn't mean to yell at you. This whole situation has me on edge," I try to comfort her.
I walk over and get down on the ground beside her. I put my arm around her and guide her body so that she's leaning against me. She relaxes a little at my gentle touch, but still looks up at me with large, wet eyes. I can't help but feel bad for her. She didn't have any say in this. I screwed with her mind along with the rest of our family's, and now we're alone without any clue what to do next. And yet, here she is trying to help me, only for me to refuse.
"You really want to know the truth?" I ask. Michelle looks into my eyes. After a moment, she quietly nods, still on edge from earlier.
Michelle deserves to know everything. She's been nothing but good to me these past few weeks. She blindly follows me wherever I go, asking for basically nothing in return. And she also happens to be one of the smartest people I know. I have no idea if it's even possible to get out of this situation, but if anyone could find a solution, I'd be either Helen or Michelle, and I obviously can't rely on Helen right now. Besides, it's not like I can't trust her. In fact, she's basically the only person I can trust now.
So for the next... I don't even know how long, I tell my sister the story of the Random Remote. Or at least as much as I can remember. This has been going on for so long, it's honestly hard to keep all the facts straight at this point. But I'm pretty sure I hit all the major details. I also tell her about her own transformation. I know it will be hard for her to fully grasp without reading the remote herself, but I also know that she's too smart for me to to try to avoid the topic. If I don't tell her, it's only a matter of time before she starts trying to figure it out on her own, so I might as well rip the bandage off myself.
The entire time I speak, Michelle doesn't say a word, instead sitting quietly beside me and listening closely. She hangs on everything I say with rapt attention, curious to know where the story goes next. It's like I'm reading her some kind of ridiculous erotica. Once I finish, quite a bit of time has passed. As I wrap up, I let out a big sigh.
"And I think that's just about everything..." I end my tale.
I look over at Michelle who looks like she's trying to process everything. After a moment of her not responding, I decide to speak up again.
"So... uh... anything thoughts?"
Michelle makes eye contact with me and gives me a confused look. I stare back at her, unsure of what's wrong. Then, it hits me.
"Oh! Whoops. Sorry, Michelle. You can talk again." I forgot about that...
"Thank you, Master," she finally replies. "It's... uh... a lot to take in..."
"You don't believe me, do you?"
"Of course I believe you! I trust you completely. And looking back on everything, this would explain a lot of things..." Michelle assures me.
"You seem surprisingly calm about all of this. You're not mad at me?" I ask.
"Well, it sounds like I couldn't really be mad even if I wanted to. It's not a ****'s place to go against her Master, after all," Michelle chuckles. "I can't tell you what I would have said before you used the remote on me, though. That feels so long ago. It's kind of hard to picture myself as anything other than you obedient **** at this point."
"Listen, I know I just dumped an astronomical amount of information on you, but you wouldn't happen to have any ideas on how to fix all of this, would you?" I ask hopefully.
"That's a bit of a tall ask. Maybe we could sort out a few things before we start trying to come up with plans? Like for example, there's something that bothers me about that Angela woman you mentioned meeting today."
"Oh? What about her?"
"If you've been keeping the remote a secret, then how did she find out about it? You said that you had never seen her before, so I doubt she was able to get close to the remote without you noticing before," Michelle walks me through her thought process.
"You make a good point. Something seemed off about her just in general. It was hard to catch with how messed up my head was at the time, but looking back on it, she did a bunch of really weird stuff. Not to mention that the whole 'board of directors' story is a bit hard to buy now that I think about it," I add.
"Exactly. Which is why I think someone must have told her about it."
"Told her? But the only other people who know about the remote are Helen and Violet," I remind her.
"And where did you say Violet was right now?" Michelle asks.
Hold on. Is Michelle saying...? Oh! Oh. Oh... Skye. I should have known she was behind this. I've gotta say, I'm impressed that Michelle was able to piece it together so quickly. But it makes sense. Skye must have **** Violet to tell her about the remote. That bitch! When I get my hands on her, I'm going to...
Breath, Matt. Calm down. I already know that nothing will get accomplished by me getting mad. Still, the thought of an evil dominatrix having the Random Remote is more than a little terrifying. There's no way I can let her keep it. I need to find a way to save everyone and get it back. I'm just not sure how to do that. I mean, everyone is on her side now except for me and Michelle. She even has Helen working for her now. I can't beat Helen.
Out of nowhere, Michelle's phone rings. The two of us look over and see that the caller ID says it's Julia.
"Don't answer that," I quickly order. "If Skye really does have the remote, it probably means she's trying round up and take full control of everyone I've already used it on."
"Right. You know, it's weird. When you first mentioned Skye, I did feel a strange pull towards her. Like a weaker version of what I feel for you. Don't misunderstand me, I'm still your **** and I'll always obey you before anyone else, Master. It's just... a weird feeling..." Michelle mentions.
I guess that makes sense. Michelle's fourth attribute makes all of her other attributes much stronger toward her Master compared to the user of the remote, but that doesn't mean the user no longer gets any benefit from those attributes. I'm sure it's strange feeling submissive to two people like that, especially given how different it is from Michelle's normal personality.
We let the phone ring until it eventually stops on its own. A few seconds later it rings again. We quickly decide to head out of Michelle's room and completely ignore it. The less information Skye has about where Michelle is, the better. The two of us move into my room. As I sit down on the bed, I can't help but be reminded of Rose. I really miss her. Sure she could be a handful, but she was my handful. Suddenly, I feel Michelle wrap her arms around me.
"Don't worry. We'll get her back. We'll get all of them back," she whispers in my ear.
"You... you want to get my harem back?" I ask with a bit of surprise.
"Of course. I want whatever my Master wants. And don't forget that part of that harem is my family. Even Rose feels like part of the family by now. And we're going to save them."
"How? We can't beat Skye. She basically has a bunch of superheroes under her control, not to mention her own ability to make others do her bidding. How are we supposed to stop her?" I ask.
"I'm not sure, but we'll figure something out. After all, you have me. What else could you possibly need?" Michelle jokes.
The two of us laugh, which helps us both calm our nerves. I know Michelle won't admit it, but I can tell she's just as worried as I am. Still, it's nice to know that there will always be at least one person who has my back. Somehow, despite all the chaos around us, that simple fact helps keep me grounded.
"Actually..." Michelle speaks up again. "Who's to say I'm the only one that has to be on your side?"
"What do you mean?"
"How many of those attributes do you think you can remember off the top of your head? And be as specific as possible. I may have just had an idea..."
Where do we go from here?
