"That you liked me at all!" Nick exclaimed, "Girls like you don't like guys like me, it just doesn't happen. And when you were talking about liking me due to Ivey's conversations, it sounded like you only liked me because you needed to like someone,"

Mackenzie's anger started to fade but annoyance only took its place, "Are you fucking serious right now?"
