Jump ahead to Daycare
Holding Ashlee's hand, Delia sighed.
"It'll be okay." she told herself and stared down at her daughter. Dressed in a rather plain pink dress, she had chosen to match it with a pair of velcro shoes.
"Is somwething wrong, Mwommy?" Ashlee inquired and Delia shook her head. While she didn't want to freak out her daughter, that was exactly what she was doing here.
"Not at all, dear." Delia answered as they reached their destination. "Are you ready for your first day?"
Ashlee nodded, jumping up and down for good measure. Coming to a stop right after, she took the time to wave. In turn, Delia waved back.
