What Happens From Here?

Juliet Brings Kenny Along To Her Dinner

Kenny, Juliet, and Tessa were in and out of the pool until just after three, as it turned out Juliet wasn't joking when she told Kenny that Tessa was a renown masseuse. She had a filled appointment book for the rest of the day that simply could not be pushed. This worked out well enough, however, as Juliet also had somewhere else she needed to be. "Tess, really, thank you so much for this. I really can find some way to pay you for the time," Juliet offered as the trio made their way out to the parking lot,

"I won't hear it," Tessa easily denied with a quick wave of her hand, "I'm more than happy to lend my hands to a friend free of charge,"

The girls lightly laughed while Kenny rolled his arms and lifted his legs alternating, "That really does feel a lot better," He murmured out to himself,

"Thank you!" Tessa replied catching Kenny off guard, surprised that she was listening to him, "Julie if you or Kenny ever need me again, don't hesitate to ask,"

"That'd be great! I mean, I probably won't need you nearly as often as Ken but..." Juliet hummed as she took out her phone and swiped through, "Here let me give you his number, that way you two can keep in touch," Kenny's eyes widened and he stared back at Juliet completely stunned,

"Sounds great!" In a flash Juliet had already told Tessa Kenny's number and it was saved in her phone, "With the pace you and Mimi are working out, I'd be a weekly session would do wonders for you. As long as you don't mind a pretty friend rubbing you down," Tessa giggled as she looked to Kenny with a wide, friendly smile stuck on her face,

"W-Well, I...uh...I mean, once a week...I don't think I could afford --" Kenny croaked,

The beautiful brunette tossed her eyes, "I told you, I help my friends free of charge," Tessa lifted her phone and gave it a wave, "I'll text you when I have an opening, see you then Kenny!" With that Tessa turned and head off to her car.

Kenny blinked a few quick times before looking to Juliet who had a smug, devious grin, "What the hell was that?"

"Me doing you a favor," Juliet merely replied as she walked up and wrapped herself around his arm, "Though I can only do so much, you need to get out of your own way, fumbles,"

"Cut me a break," Kenny smirked at the nickname, "I was caught off guard, I didn't expect her to --"

"Like you?" Juliet finished, walking alongside Kenny back to her car,

Kenny fought off a toothy smile, "To be so nice, actually," He corrected with a quick clear of his thread, "Also didn't expect her to be Ellie's sister. She's never mentioned her...w-while we work out," He quickly tacked on,

Juliet shrugged, "Might not have had a reason to bring her up. I mean they share a dad but she's older, lives in another house, has a different lifestyle. It's not like you and me, we're much closer,"

"That's true," Kenny warmly agreed as they reached the car and finally separated from each other, "Heading home, now?"

"Well...actually, are you up for a ride?" Juliet smiled and Kenny gave a nod, "Awesome, then come on, we don't want to run late," The duo climbed into the car and took off, heading out of town.

A few hours passed as Juliet and Kenny drove on the highway until they pulled off into the exit that led to Dartwin. If Greenwall was a town, then Dartwin could be considered a city. Most of all the real business happened at this neighboring city that rested just at the foot of the White family owned, Kaster Mountain. Tall skyscraper buildings dotted the skyline, a mix of businesses, restaurants, hotels, and more lined every street with most everyone living in apartments of actual houses. The few houses that did exist were on the outskirts, and while they were nice, they seemed like nothing in comparison to the high rises in their shadows.

Kenny couldn't help but let out a small sigh of disappointment, for a lot of his friends, Dartwin was amazing. It had a massive mall, a few sports arenas, bars that didn't like to check ids, everything a normal teenager would love, but he wasn't a fan. It was too crowded, the people much rougher and insulting as opposed to his home town. It was probably why he rarely came here unless he was with Brian and Rachel, and even then, most of the time it was to stop at their dad's office at LQT.Inc, located at the tallest skyscraper in the center of town.

"So, you going to tell me why we had to drive all this way yet?" Kenny asked as Juliet merely continued to drive with a smile, "Oh come on,"

"Dinner with a friend," Juliet clarified,

"You drove all the way to Dartwin...for dinner? And isn't it rude to bring me?" Kenny scratched the back of his head,

"She won't mind, and yes it had to be Dartwin, she works here and I wasn't going to ask her to come all the way back to Greenwall just to catch a quick meal as friends," Kenny furrowed his brow, sitting back in his seat wondering who Juliet was speaking of.

His train of thought abruptly stopped as Juliet pulled the car into the luxurious hotel, Icy Bliss. The building stretched to the sky, each floor only having a few rooms that were build much more like apartments then overnight rooms. The teen knew that Brian's family stayed once in awhile, but mainly it was kept under constant reserve for the rich business families that flew in to make deals with LQT.Inq. "Uh, Julie, what are we doing here? We can't afford to be here even if we both spent ever last dime we have,"

"Relax, we were invited, the bill is being taken care of apparently," Juliet slowed the car, gave her hair a quick fluff with her fingers and then looked to Kenny, "Come on, they're already waiting,"

Kenny nearly winced, feeling more than under dressed as they got out of the car. A vale ran around to Juliet, taking her keys and getting into the car as the pair walked inside. Juliet stepped away for only a few seconds to speak with the manager at the desk before leading Kenny to a elevator and riding up to the very top of the hotel.Stepping out Kenny spotted a neon sign reading, Chilled Excellence.

Kenny's nerves continued to build, unable to not feel like a fool as Juliet confidently led them into the restaurant. Another quick work with the hostess and they were suddenly being brought up to the VIP lounge. "What the fuck is going on?" Kenny breathed out as the hostess pointed, gave them a respectful smile and walked away.

Juliet and Kenny moved to the table and Kenny's eyes grew in surprise, "Ah, there you are, I was wondering if you were coming at all. You're late," Bella hummed from her seat at the table,

"I know, I'm so sorry I'm late, the traffic was worse than I thought it'd be!" Juliet apologized as she moved over to Bella.

The woman rose from her seat and the two shared a short hug. As it broke Bella's blue eyes finally peered over and locked on Kenny's brown ones, "Kenny," The redhead said in a tone that sent a chill down his spine.

How Does Dinner Go?
