Julia barely avoids the conflict

Julia saw the concern on Miss Halls face and realized her predicament.

J: “You know what? I think you are right Miss Hall! Hypnosis is ridicules. Thanks for the cereal. I´m always so cranky on an empty stomach” she said with the best fake smile she could come up with.

G: “I know what you mean. I hate my usual morning routine to be denied. But you better leave some room for dinner later on” she said, seemingly convinced by Julia´s act.

Julia wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible, but was careful to act as normal as possible. She ate up her bowl quickly, while Gabriella prepared dinner. As she was about to get up and leave the room she smelled something rather pleasant and was curious.

J: “It smells nice. What are you preparing for dinner?” she asked while she heard footsteps on her right side near the doorless entrance. Someone must be walking towards the bathroom.

G: “I´m preparing a nice lasagna...” she said while standing behind the counter and preparing the oven.

G: “...and a nice salad with some zucchini” she yelled across the kitchen as she came back up.

The sound of footsteps in the hall disappeared, not that anyone noticed.

J: “Well that sounds lovely” she said finishing her breakfast and got ready to leave.

Who happens to check the hall first? Julia, Miss Hall, someone from the living room or...
