Josh get's invited out

Josh stretched as she stood up, her back hurting a bit from the uncomfortable chair that she had inherited from Stacy. She was mid-stretch as a guy approached, smiling at her. "Hey Josh, some of us were gonna hit the bar tonight. You're more than welcome to tag along if you'd like."

"Uhh, I'm not sure," Josh said. "It's been kind of a hectic day."

"Hey, it's an open invite. We'll be just across the street. Hope to see you there," the guy said. He gave her a pretty obvious once over and then turned and walked away.

"Ooh, he was eyeing you up something fierce," Rose said. "You should go. You could do far worse than Rob." She paused and then sighed. "I remember getting attention like that."

"You liked stuff like that?"

"Oh, it's a bit of harmless flirting. Doesn't it feel nice, having a man pay attention to you like that? Clearly wanting you?"

_It made my skin crawl, _Josh thought. But if you liked that crap, good for you. I wish I could handle it as easily as you do...

Josh felt the sensation again and mentally kicked herself. Why was she so fucking bad at this? Was she that careless that someone decided to curse her to point it out?

When the feeling passed, Rose stood up and her demeanor had changed. "I know you didn't ask for my advice, but I wouldn't go. That kind of behavior is..." She trailed off then shook her head, then walked away.

_I wasn't going to go. _The idea stuck in Josh's head, though, and thinking back to the interaction with the guy, Rob apparently, was clear in her memory. This time, instead of crawling skin, she felt... excited. "Fuuuuck."
