Chapter 34 by bluebeak

Does Jomath beat the Eye-Stalker? Any chance for Eilway to escape?

Jomath comes to a sticky end

The Eye-Stalker floated expectantly on one side of the Pit, its single giant eye focussed on the blonde sorceress as its tentacles writhed and quivered.

Jomath stood with her hands on her hips and head flung proudly back, trying to ignore the jeering crowd of monsters. She had given up trying to hide her nudity some time ago. It had in any case been a futile endeavour.

"Fight!" shouted the Dark Faery.

The Eye-Stalker moved quickly forward, directly into a blast of flame from Jomath's fingers. Jomath pressed her attack, firing darts of ice at the creature and making it wail and retreat. Then, suddenly, the Eye-Stalker landed a lucky blow with one of its flailing tentacles, knocking Jomath off balance and giving it a moment to recover.

The monsters were all gripped by the drama.

No-one except Eilwy noticed the tree goblin Scar moving closer to the Dark Faery, holding something in his hand.

What is the dirty bastard up to? Eilwy wondered. She had of course neither forgiven nor forgotten her own humiliation at the tree goblin's pleasure.

Before she could take that thought further, she was distracted by a loud cheer from the crowd. The Eye-Stalker had struck another lucky blow and dazed Jomath, and its tentacles were quickly wrapping around the poor sorceress's legs and arms and immobalising her.

The sorceress kicked and struggled desparately, but it was too late. The tentacles wrapped around her wrists and lifted her from the floor of the pit, and then more wrapped around her ankles and slowly pulled her legs open.

Jomath frantically recalled a final spell, but when she opened her mouth to cast it the Eye-Stalker pushed a fat tentacle between her lips and gagged her. Jomath's eyes widened in indignation.

And then the Eye-Stalker's other tentacles gleefully descended to do their work, teasing the thrashing sorceress, probing her tender flesh and making her writhe helplessly and moan into her gag.

The crowd of monsters went wild.

Eilwy's face was grim - she knew all too well that she would have the same fate before the night was out.

The Dark Faery turned to the crowd. "One down!" She shouted triumphantly, secure in her moment of her absolute power.

What a day this had been - her name would be long remembered!

She didn't notice Scar moving up quickly on her flank.

What is Scar's up to? Is Eilwy destined to fight more monsters in the Pit?
