John decides to try a bar that night
The bars presented a thrill. There was something about the immediacy of these interactions, the active, hunting approach to meeting a woman. He knew he could find women who shared his interest in a no-strings-attached rapport.
Having decided to hit the bar, John went home after work, cleaned up, put on a suit, and drove to a popular bar/nightclub.
The instant he walked in, he began scanning the room for a woman that he found attractive. It was a Friday night, and it was crowded. There were plenty of women for him to consider. Some were at the bar, some dancing, some with someone, others alone.
John weighed his options.
