John chooses for her

Sarah is ****. In frustration he pulls the car over and seize the book. John flip through and find a very simple looking spell, needing only to hold the book and read the words. He reads it aloud and with gusto. “Klaatu Barada Nikto!” Immediately, in front of the car lightning seem to burst from mid air. What looks like a tear in fabric of existence is seemingly torn and out of emerges a great black shape at once like shadow and smoke. The Creature turned what might best be described as a head turned on you, it opened what for lack of a better word was it’s maw. It’s nostrils flared and from it’s maw shot a strange tendril. It pierced your chest and for a brief moment everything went cold. It felt as if you would know love again. Then it I pulled it out in flash it glanced at Sarah upon whom it spat a strange black tar, this tar seeped through her clothes and then her skin and was gone. With a haste unnatural for a creature of it’s size, the shade/ beast escaped into the night. For a moment the two of them sit in absolute silence; neither able to believe what you just saw.

At last Sarah broke the silence. “John?“

“Yeah, Sarah?”

“I think you just fucked up.”

“Yeah, me too.” John agreed

Sarah seized the book. “The Noisserper,” the she read, “one the most insidious creatures in magic, once it has marked it anchor, the being which binds it to this world, it will stay indefinitely uh I can't tell if this Ravishing or Ravaging?"

"With my luck Ravage," you answer.
Sorayama continues, “those closest to the heart of the anchor, it is there by most imperitive that you never summon a Noisserper unless you have an anchor ready, traditionally a rabbit, as well as a binding spell of terrasque level or higher. When the anchor is slain so will die the beast.” She slams the book shut, and gives you a scolding look.

“Oh come on,” he whined. “You didn’t even believe that it was for real.”
