John Gives It a Bone

John gives the dog a big, juicy bone wrapped in a bow. It's a large leg bone with dried meat and tendons left hanging on it. It looked “mesquite” flavored.

“Here you go, little guy. Happy birthday.”

He holds the bone out and puts it in the dog’s mouth. The dog lowers its head and gently sets the bone on the floor. It thanks John by barking and waving its paws in an excited begging position. It sniffs the bone again then jumps up putting its paws on John trying to lick his face. It can’t reach so it settles for licking John’s hairy belly and nosing his crotch again. John giggles and pushes the dog away.
