John's team does poorly on purpose

If John didn't know any better, he might have thought his team was just having a bad luck streak, as the first round ended rather quickly with his team members getting quickly eliminated, but then it struck him that there was something odd; his team was mostly comprised of the girls in the class.

Only then did he suspect that this might have been a rigged game, that perhaps Jenna had convinced them to lose on purpose so that she could humiliate John again.

As the round came to a close, John caught Jenna giving him a knowing look; she wanted him to strip, sighing, John removed his t-shirt, exposing his bare chest, and became very much aware that his team were trying their best to stare at him as inconspicuously as possible.
