Joffrey’s Special Servant

You arrive in the gates of King’s Landing, a free, yet poor, woman. Your first order of business is to find work. Fortunately, the Gods are on your side today.

You see a flyer pinned to a wall offering a position as a Maid to Joffrey Baratheon, the Crown Prince. This seems like perfect work for you, so you quickly head to the Red Keep. The flyer told you to report to the Small Hall where Cersei Lannister, Joffrey’s Mother, would choose 3 maids after rigorous testing. While you don’t know what to expect from the testing, it’s surely worth a try.

In the Small Hall, you notice about a hundred other women ranging in age from 18 to 40, as well as Cersei herself in the front of the room.

“Stand in a line!” The clear voice of Cersei Lannister oozes control and authority. You immediately follow her orders, without even realising you’ve done so.

“If you are over the age of 25, leave.” She says curtly. About half of the women leave.

“If you are not a virgin, leave.” She says next. About a third of a the remaining women leave.

“Excellent. That leaves...” she quickly counts “17 of you. Just so you know, your maidenhood will be approved by a holy Septa, who will examine you parts thoroughly. If you have lied about that, leave now.” Two women leave.

“Wonderful, now, strip.” She says abruptly. Unlike most others, you quickly obey, pulling your cheap woollen dress over your head. You see about 6 other women did the same, but it’s clear your the first to do it.

“These 7 may stay, the rest of you leave.” She turns to the remaining 7. “You followed my instructions, well done. 4 of you will leave, 3 of you will be accepted as my son’s maids.

“If you would follow Joffrey’s orders to the letter, regardless of what he says, kneel.” One woman does not kneel. She leaves.

“I shall perform the examination on this one” she points to you. “Septas, the rest of them are yours.”

You follow the beautiful queen nervously, still naked. She takes you to a back room. There is a bed, a bathtub and a table in the room.
