What does Joel roll?
Joel rolls a 6.
“Hey! I think that is a good improvement.” Joel compliments Thomas to make her feel better.
“Yes, but we’re trying to go back to our normal selves. Not improve on our woman versions of ourselves.”
“Well, in case we don’t go back to our normal selves, I would rather have a big booty to look good.” Yonah supportively says.
“Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. Just stop looking at my butt and roll the dice.” Thomas is a bit annoyed and replies without trying to be mean.
“Okay, but just adjust your pants so your panty lines are showing as much.” Seth advises.
“I tried, they’re tight, and I can’t fix it, so stop looking at my butt and panties. When did everyone all of a sudden become an expert on having a big ass?”
Joel raises her drink up.

“When you are as fat as I was, jeans are no longer an option, that’s why I usually wear shorts.”
“OKAY, GREAT. EVERYONE'S AN EXPERT! ROLL!”
Joel decides to leave the conversation at that and proceeds with her turn.
“Alright, please don’t roll as badly as last time.” Joel whispers to herself as the die flies from her hand. The dice decided to be merciful this time and reveals six dots.
“YES!” Joel triumphantly shouts as she moves her piece ahead of Thomas’ for a temporary grasp of the lead.
“HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE” she giggles out.
Once Joel moves her piece, everyone looks at the colored space she landed on. Red.
“Our first red space.”
“Yeah, we don’t have a good rep for landing on colored spaces for the first time.”
“Huh?! Mine was fine.” Seth says.
“Okay, but Yonah got one she doesn’t like. Joel fucked all of us when landing on orange and then getting green. We’re like…one for four now.”
“I don’t know if counting the orange and green space together is right. Technically Thomas got the first green space.”
“GUYS! Does it really matter?”
“Eh, guess not.”
Joel reaches over and pulls the red card up. She asks a question before reading the card’s text.
“What’s red again, Thomas?”
“Mind, thinking, personality.”
“AW WHAT? I like my personality.”
“Damn, should’ve rolled lower then.”
Joel looks back at the guard and clears her throat, “AHEM!”
–
“What a roll and so much gained,
Quite the lead you’ve attained.
You begin your search for new found fame
Time to start a new life with a new name.”
–
“A new name huh”
“I like my name!”
“It’ll probably tell us to call you by a different name till the end of the game.”
“Okay, but you said that this could be permanent if we don’t fix it, so there’s a chance I’ll lose my name?”
“How does that work?” The question is posed to Thomas.
“I need everyone, so stop asking me questions about the game that I’m playing for the first time. We all got turned into women on the first turn, I don’t have the explanations for everything.”
“I’m just gonna not think about it, and be happy with the lead I got. ‘I continue’.“
The card’s bright red turns to black. Everyone saw the color change and expected something to happen. But nothing did.
“Did it work?”
“It’s a mental change, how the fuck are we supposed to see something like that.”
“His brain must’ve gotten smaller.”
“Fuck you.”
“What was the riddle again?”
“It said I got a new name.”
“So what’s your name?”
“Jersey.” Joel said it so confidently like it was second nature.
“Then the card must not have worked.” Yonah answers.
“But all of the previous cards’ effects have done something.”
“Yeah, but the card said Jersey was supposed to get a new name, but Jersey’s name is still Jersey.”
“Hmmmm, that doesn’t make sense.” Thomas pulls up the rule book again, expecting the answers to somehow reveal themselves.
“That’s fine isn’t it? Jersey got a card that didn’t affect her, and she’s in the lead now. Win-Win.”
“Yeah, you’re right,” Jersey replies.
“Does the card say what your new name is?”
Jersey picks her blackened card back up, the riddle is now faded, but there is no new name listed on the card.
“Nope, nothing. Looks like the other dark cards.”
“Hmmm.”
Before Thomas or Yonah could figure out why they think the card is defunct, Jersey moves the dice over to Yonah.
“Your turn pal.”
What does Yonah roll?

Chicken out: The game
A simple transformative game of chicken
Welcome to chicken out! The game so good we spun it off unchanged!! Based on the concept of Mr_Anderson. This is a game of chicken. The players each take turns rolling a die, their game piece moves accordingly and they draw a card based on the color they land on. The cards contain a text with transformative properties. After reading the card, the player can then choose to either continue or chicken out. Easy, right?
