What's next?

Jinx the Bounty Hunter

Jinx was disappointed in herself, to say the least. She'd ended up wearing Vi's skin for the better part of a week, giving her full control over her dear sister's life, and yet the most she could bring herself to do was rearrange her apartment to be more annoying, and be a little bit rude to Sheriff Caitlyn. "I guess I still... care about Vi," she thought, cringing at the idea, "Big part of it probably comes from having her memories, too - kinda hard to hate old Big Hat when I'm stuck feeling Vi's feelings for her... Might be time for a new perspective?"

So, Jinx decided to leave Vi, figuring she might care less (and thus be able to have more fun) in the skin of someone she didn't care about. Having spent the last few days studying and experimenting with the costume gun, Jinx was now fairly confident she understood its abilities even more than Jayce did - the "upgrades" she'd made didn't hurt, either. Now, the gun could not only give you access to a skin's memories, but even let you rewrite them so that your host would never be able to tell that they'd just been skinned and worn. Jinx had a todo list of a couple other upgrades she'd like to make, but that would have to wait - she was itching to get out of Vi's skin and into someone else. "And while we're at it... why not go somewhere entirely new? Always wanted to travel, just never really could because of the whole 'wanted fugitive' thing."

Fixing up Vi's memories, Jinx finally left her on the morning of day six - Vi would wake up in her own bed, still stewing over the fact that Jinx had gotten away, and go back to work to apologize to Sheriff Cupcake for taking out her frustration on her these past couple of days. Jinx, meanwhile, immediately broke into the apartment of Vi's next-door neighbor, an average looking Piltover man who worked as a loader at the docks, and soon enough found herself climbing into his skin - Jinx's ticket out of the city. Taking a couple of minutes to familiarize herself with her new "parts", Jinx soon got dressed in the man's work uniform and set out, passing by Vi's door with a grin. "Catch you on the flip side, sister."

Arriving at the docks, Jinx used her temporary body's memories to clock in for work and start moving crates. As she let the man's body work on autopilot, however, Jinx was scanning the labels of each box through his eyes, mulling over their destinations and wondering where to go...One set of boxes in particular near the edge of the dock drew Jinx's borrowed eyes - namely, it was the label on the boxes that caught her attention: "Caution: Highly Explosive!" "Heh, my kind of party..." Jinx thought, smirking as she subtly made her way over to the departure docks, and as she got closer she noticed the infamous emblem of one of Piltover's largest buyers stamped on the tops - Noxus. "Makes sense... Noxus does get a lot of the excess gunpowder that doesn't get used in Piltover or Bilgewater... and they probably have plenty of expensive shit to blow up, too - sounds like a plan!" Jinx decided with a smirk on her stolen face, and she quickly made herself busy moving the crates onto their designated transport ship.

Once the boxes were all loaded into the hold, Jinx stood up straight and glanced around, taking advantage of her temporary body's taller stature. "Now I just need to find... the captain!" she thought as she spotted her, an average-looking older woman wearing a simple yet neat brown outfit, currently looking over some maps.

Jinx smiled once more, before steeling herself behind her skin's personality and striding over to the woman, hand subtly feeling for the costume gun hidden in her back pocket.. "Excuse me, captain," she said, the man's deep voice at once familiar and alien to Jinx. "Could I speak to you for a moment in private?"

"Ahhh, now this is more like it!" Jinx said as she stood proudly on the deck of the ship, looking out at the sea, and now wearing the body of the ship's captain - the ship's only crewmember, in fact, given that the ship was hextech-powered and thus largely automated. The dock worker would wake up in a few minutes, wondering where his morning had gone, and why he had apparently decided to take a nap in a broom closet... upside-down.Jinx, on the other hand, was long gone, leaving Piltover for the first time in her life. Not only was she glad not to have a cock dangling between her legs anymore, but she also appreciated the woman's more wiry stature - closer to Jinx's own frame than Vi's or the dock worker's had been. Adjusting the captain's uniform, Jinx briefly fondled her breasts, finding the sensation novel compared to her own flat chest, before she headed down below decks to get a closer look at the cargo the ship was carrying. "Maybe I can get a hint as to who's buying this much firepower... and whether or not they might be worth taking for a ride." Picking up the manifest, Jinx scanned over it briefly, but the only hint she could find as to its destination was the recipient: "Captain Indari, Trifarian Legion..." Jinx read aloud, still getting used to the captain's voice. "Sounds boring... but hey, if she's a captain, maybe she's got people working for her? Could be useful..."

Shrugging, Jinx tossed the manifest onto the top of the crates, and decided to crack one open to see just what it was she was transporting - and she was not disappointed. Gunpowder and explosives of the highest quality, and enough of them to level a city block... or a hundred of them. "Whoa..." Jinx gasped, ideas already swirling through her head about the mischief she could cause with this kind of firepower. Taking out the hexgates and crippling the Piltover's trade, collapsing Piltover's very foundations and bringing it down to Zaun's level (literally!)... briefly, Jinx considered just turning the ship around and using it as a giant missile to blow up the seaports, but one look down at her current body dissuaded that idea. "Mmm... not exactly gonna be running too far from the enforcers, are you toots?" she said, looking down at her slightly wrinkled hands, and feeling the creaking in her shoulders from age and years at sea.

"Nah, I think we hold out for Noxus, and see about this 'Captain Indari' person - if she's putting in an order for this much firepower, she's probably got the means to use it and get away with it." Sealing the crate once more, Jinx briefly looked longingly at it, before pulling herself away to head back above deck, deciding to just wait out the journey.

Finally, Jinx found her borrowed freight ship pulling into the seaport of the Noxian capital city, and found herself silently thanking the mostly-automated ship for handling the docking procedure - her normal idea of "driving" involved more crashing than most people's. As the ship drifted to a stop in the bay, Jinx felt the anchor release and drop as some dockworkers pulled the ship closer to the loading dock with ropes, and Jinx soon found herself stepping onto land, handing the manifest to the nearest dock worker. "Careful with the crates," Jinx said using the captain's authoritative voice, "Unless you want to explain to the client why their entire shipment exploded - along with half the docks." The dock worker briefly looked confused, before the realization dawned on him and he nodded firmly, then turned and motioned for his crew to start unloading the crates."Is that my order I see?" a voice suddenly rang out behind Jinx - a confident-sounding, Shuriman-accented voice. Jinx turned, and found herself looking up slightly at a tall, muscular, dark-skinned woman wearing black leather armor and an eyepatch over one eye, and with tattoos and gold adornments all over her. However, Jinx's eyes immediately went to the woman's weapons - two beautiful-looking pistols, one on each hip, and a massive sword slung over her back, ready to be drawn at a moment's notice. The woman smirked as she noticed the woman she believed to be a simple ship captain staring lovingly at her guns, and drew one with a twirl to show it off. "You like these, darling?" she said, posing briefly with it for her audience to admire.

"Wow..." Jinx said, briefly forgetting who she was supposed to be right now. "I- I mean, uh... impressive, surely." She straightened up, trying to mask herself behind the ship captain's personality. "Did you say 'your' order? Are you Captain Indari?"

"Ha! Afraid not, but she's a good friend - sent me to pick it up for her, seeing as I'm probably going to be the one using it anyways. Name's Samira!" the woman laughed, holstering her pistol before reaching out a gloved hand, which Jinx grasped in a firm handshake.

"A pleasure to meet you, miss Samira..." Jinx replied, already putting together a plan. "I must say, those really are impressive weapons - what is it that you do for a living?"

"Why, haven't you heard of me?" Samira raised a hand to her face in mock offense, before breaking into a cocky grin. "I'm only the best damned bounty hunter in Noxus! And you'd best believe these are impressive weapons - custom made, the only ones of their kind, and I'm sorry to say they won't be leaving my side any time soon..." Samira leaned in, a glimmer in her eye as she spoke her next words quietly enough for only Jinx to hear, "But... I wouldn't be opposed to letting you take a closer look at my guns... in private."

"Might as well just hand 'em to me on a silver platter!" Jinx smirked, almost not believing how much better this was going than she'd ever imagined it could. "I... I think I have some paperwork that I'll need you to sign to confirm delivery..." Jinx said, silently thankful that her stolen body was apparently Samira's type. "They're just over in my private quarters on the ship. It could take a while."

Samira grinned at that, and stepped back before motioning towards the ship. "Lead the way, my new friend." Jinx turned and started making her way back onto the ship, subtly fingering the costume gun folded up in her coat pocket. "Almost too easy..."

About twenty minutes later, Jinx found herself stepping off of the ship once more, feeling much better about her physical capabilities now that she was wearing Samira's skin. The bounty hunter had never seen it coming, thinking she was going to have a quickie with a mature and vaguely attractive ship captain with an appreciation for weapons, only to feel an electric shock as soon as she turned her back, before she passed out, her skin hollowed out and collapsing on the floor in a pile of her clothes and weapons, now nothing more than Jinx's newest meatsuit.

Jinx, meanwhile, wasted no time shedding the ship captain, letting her own body breathe for only a moment before climbing inside of Samira's body, feeling her limbs lengthen and thicken as she inherited Samira's muscular physique - not too dissimilar to Vi's, though Samira was certainly more acrobatic than Vi's more boxer-like build. "Best of both worlds," Jinx mused, smirking as she continued pulling Samira's body onto her own. "The muscles to compete with Big Hands, and the guns to outshoot Sheriff Big Hat - oh Samira, where have you been all my life?" As Jinx finally pulled Samira's face over hers, she blinked as she found the eyesight in her right eye to be... not gone, exactly, but definitely too blurry to be able to see anything properly.

Sure enough, as Samira's memories started flowing into Jinx's brain, she learned that Samira's eye had been injured in a fight years ago - and she took it in stride, accepting the loss of her eye in exchange for having a legitimate reason to wear a badass looking eyepatch. Curling Samira's lips into a grin, Jinx reached down and plucked the eyepatch from the pile of clothes, pulling it over her head and soon finding herself able to focus through the good eye, before quickly getting dressed up in the rest of Samira's clothes.

Tugging on her heavy boots, Jinx finally turned her attention to the best part - the weapons. She reached down and grasped one gun in each hand, feeling their comfortable weight in Samira's hands as her stolen memories of using them flash before her. "Ahh... you know, you were right, Samira - these guns won't be leaving your side any time soon... except now, I suppose my side is your side, isn't it?" Chuckling, Jinx holstered the guns, before expertly kicking up the sword and catching it, giving it a smooth twirl before slinging it over her back.

Glancing down at the ship captain, still a lifeless skin, Jinx sighed, grabbed the costume gun, and fired it at her, before folding it up and stuffing it into Samira's pocket. Striding over to the captain's desk, Jinx messily signed Samira's name on the delivery paperwork, before turning and walking out, ignoring the captain's slowly-reinflating body. Making her way past the workers, Jinx gave a quick nod and smirk to the same dock worker that she had originally handed the manifest to, who could only raise an unimpressed eyebrow in response, causing Jinx to nearly burst out laughing. "Don't forget, boys," she shouted in Samira's confident tone, "All this is heading to Captain Indari - and I'd better not find out any of you sorry lot stole any of my gunpowder!" Jinx could only cackle as she left the port, letting Samira's memories guide her as she made her way into Noxus.

Indari looked up as her door opened, and relaxed only slightly as she saw it was none other than Samira, her best hunter. "Sam," she sighed, rolling her wheelchair out from behind her desk. "Glad you're back - I take it the shipment is on its way. Just had a couple of new jobs come in, wanted to know if you had a preference before I started handing them out."

Samira smiled fondly, and slowly started walking around Indari's office, admiring the various trophies and awards Indari had received over the years. If Indari didn't know any better, she'd think Samira was acting like she'd never been in here before, but...

"You know, Indari, I've got an idea in my head that I just can't seem to get out..." 'Samira' said, turning to lean on the windowsill as her smile turned into a grim smirk. "Got any jobs in Piltover? Finding myself wanting to visit the so-called 'City of Progress'."
