Who is the point of view character?
Jim, Father of the Bride
Jim nervously shook his leg and sat in the long hallway, his elbows resting on his knees. It was the most important day of his daughter Kristen’s life. She was getting married to her soulmate. Jim and his wife Sarah had helped plan their daughter's wedding, down to the last-minute details, to ensure that their union would be a happy and prosperous affair.
His eyes soon went wide as he heard muffled shouts outside the door and light sobs. He could hear words being exchanged before the door opened. Sarah popped out and looked at Jim nervously. He quickly stood up and followed his wife inside the room. His heart sank as he saw his daughter on the verge of tears. He bent down on a knee and gently held Kristen.
“What’s wrong, dear?” he asked, being as gentle with his voice as he possibly could be. “Rebecca cancelled. I don’t have a third bridesmaid,” Kristen responded, burying her face in her hands. “Don’t worry, my darling girl. I’m going to fix this.”
Whatever shall Jim do?
