Jessica entered the room, noticing all of the tables with some of the classmates sitting down at them. Mallory sat her down at the first seat they saw, only feet from the entrance.
"Don't complain," Mallory hissed as she almost pushed Jessica down into the seat - despite Jessica's lack of complaint - "you wanted to give a show, now you're giving a show. Be grateful your butt isn't the star!"
To some extent, Jessica was in fact grateful that her deal with the devil was concealed to all her friends and classmates. On the other hand, however, she could feel the warmth of her battered cheeks on the seat, whose fabric itched even her back but especially her sore bottom.
Faced with this tactile onslaught, Jess could only wiggle and fidget in her seat, causing (alongside her wardrobe) raised eyebrows from her classmates entering the reunion and especially the people seated at her table. Jessica really wanted to get up, but noticed that the bathroom doors were on the other side of the room and didn't want everyone seeing her red tushy. So, she had to grin and bear it and carry on with the conversation with her classmates, her wiggling and fidgeting all too transparent.
