"Processed? The fuck do you mean by that? What am I being processed into?" Jessica asked, she was still stuck on the permit scenario. "We gotta process you as a non permit holder and then place under our supervision until you can earn a permit." The receptionist explained and Mildred nodded in agreement.

Jessica crossed her eyebrows, questioning the logic. "Why can't I just go out and buy myself a permit, if it means getting rid of you freaks I'll happily spend money!" Jessica suggested, she didn't want to go through with whatever they had planned for her. "Because people who don't have permits are a danger and menace to our society in Pinesdale. The whole point of the permit system is retain citizens with good backgrounds and lawful behaviours, eradicating those who wish to cause trouble and bring Pinesdale down as a community." Mildred explained, her tone getting frustrated the more she spoke.

Jessica suddenly realised something. "Holy shit, that's how you guys have managed to keep a nearly no crime rate record, you're filtering out the 'bad' people and only keeping the ones you deem acceptable!" Jessica accused, feeling good to have almost cracked the case. The receptionist turned to Mildred. "You're right, this one really is gonna be a danger, we need to deal with it asap!"
