Jessica Albert Speculation & Lore

in this entry we will be going over details that are not gone into in the game and my personal thoughts and speculations regarding Jessica Albert:Jessica Albert is a descendant of one of the sages that sealed away the final boss however each generation one is chosen to bear the blood seal for the staff her brother was the chosen one in her generation being chosen seems to confer no tangible benefits at all however it is worthy of thought that as far as is said in the game despite the long time from the sages **** to the seal breaking none of the sages family has had another individual that came anywhere close to the sages level in fact besides Jessica none seem aware at all that they are the descendant of the sages or treat it as a tale also all of them besides Jessica's family's case don't appear to have any living relatives at all in addition none of them besides Jessica again are mages at all logically this doesn't make sense surely the sages would have left a firm foundation for there descendents and surely some of them wont of ruined them yet besides Jessica all of them are unknown or worked up from the bottom so perhaps part of the cost of the curse seal or the power source of the seal was the luck and potential of the descendants this can explain how all the descendants were so weak and in such poor circumstances this I feel even applys to Jessica as well since the only thing keeping her family in their highers status seems to be a combination of how well regarded they are and how remote they are from any power center as well as the fact it is just a small town they rule over that rule doesn't even seem to extend to the nearby port for that matter so this leads to a question:so what happens to the unused luck and potential of the sealed family when there are relatives remaining and what happens to the luck and potential of the ones with no relatives remaining?the only outlet for that energy is Jessica she is young enough that none of her luck or potential would have been drained much since it is more likely to activate when a certain level is reached if not their wouldn't be any survivors when the story happened and he would have escaped long ago another question worth pondering is for a group of sages that could link a seal to a bloodline I find it weird that none of their descendants seem to possess advanced knowledge of any sort that they would have so is it possible that the knowledge or the knowledge of how to get that knowledge is also sealed in the bloodline waiting for some trigger?I mean I feel it unlikely that the sages wouldn't have predicted the problems that happen makes sense to leave a few safeguards in place so their descendents could at least reseal him if something happens so the fact that Jessica was taken over so easily especially since the hero was nearby feels like a plot that would only happen in a videogame since the sages likely would have put measures in place so that this wouldn't happen at least not in a short time(thats what it is by the way a videogame lol)even taken over she retains enough control that she tries to avoid the part rather then fighting them like the previous guy did also she was far stronger while under as well without demonizing she seems to have a higher affinity to the power sealed in the staff in addition I always feel like she has a rather explosive growth in particular as a mage compared to the other party members I would say besides the hero(who's power is Broken in so many ways)she by far grows the most in power even I would argue the most since the hero never gains control of his power in any way at all from beginning to end an interesting piece of lore that is never expanded upon is if you visit Jessica's village latter and talk to a little girl she asks Jessica to teach her the spell transformation although no context is given in what it does like turn people into toads or allows you to transform yourself clearly since she can teach it she has mastered it yet no such ability is available in battle or is ever used in cut scenes perhaps this is a limit that had to work with because it is a video game but in a story you could go deeper into this and magic in general
