Jessica's not so subtle arrival...

It took Jessica a day and a half to reach Deadneck. The Black Lynchers had gone back to their ranch to do whatever it was they did, and she now found herself at the entrance to the town. She rode her horse as casually as she could, but as she was making her way into town, she was stopped by three men.

“What do you want?” Jessica growled.

“You have to pay a toll to come into this town.” One of the men said. “Sixty dollars.”

“How about you let me through and I don’t beat the shit out of all of you?” she asked.

“Why don’t you try?” the man responded.

“Gladly.”

Pulling her lasso from her waist, she swung it around the neck of one of the men’s horses. Pulling hard to her right, the horse was **** to move with her and crashed into one of the other horses. The two horses panicked, stood on their hind legs, and **** their riders off. Before the third cowboy could even pull his gun, Jessica had drawn hers and shot him in the leg. He let out a cry as he fell to the ground, and Jessica rode her horse past the three fallen men.

The fight had stirred the attention of the nearby saloons, and many of the cowboys poured out, wondering what the commotion was. Jessica noticed a blonde haired woman in the crowd as well.

“Are you Lisa?” Jessica asked.

She nodded.

“You killed my brother.” Jessica growled, “I challenge you to a fight.”

“I think you’ve got the wrong woman.” Lisa replied. “I’ve only killed one person since I’ve gotten here.”

“My name is Jessica Delver.”

Many of the cowboys backed away, suddenly frightened by this woman. Lisa simply drew her gun.

“All right.” Lisa said. “Dismount your horse and pull your gun.”
