"It's Jess." She called out from behind the front door.

Jess had been to his place a lot of times in the past to hang out, she was a good friend after all.

"Be there in a sec." Frank shouted back.

She wore her usual work outfit, a black pencil skirt and a white blouse; and as usual she looked stunning in it. Her black shoulder length hair was slightly messy, as she had clearly just woken up.

"Wow, put some clothes on Williamson." Jess teased.

"Piss off Miller. Its my house.” Frank laughed back.

“Damn dude, you been working out or something?” She changed the subject, ogling his new shredded form.

“Ahh…” Frank paused, thinking about the real explanation being that he was an alien. “Yeah I guess so.”

“Well, I just came by to see if you were alright. You feeling okay?” She asked sympathetically. “Work, has been boring without you.”

“Thanks.” She replied, following him inside.

“Coffee?” Frank asked.

“Yeah. I’ll make it, you go put some clothes on.” Jess offered.

Frank left to his room, seeking out more appropriate attire. He closed the door behind him and disrobed. Pulling a shirt on, he thought about how kind it was for Jess to stop by and check on him. God he had a massive crush on her, he wondered if she shared any of the same feelings?
