Jereli's new lesson

You dock at the hangar. Master Yoda leaves the ship to meet Dooku alone. Jereli leaves with you three afterwards. The droids do not attack anybody, they merely stand guard at the entrances. The hangar door remains open, it leads directly to the planet surface, as it is on ground level. Anakin and Obi-Wan remain on the ship, should master Yoda need any help, they could come to the rescue. Jereli then forms a **** shield around you all to protect you from the acidic rain and tells you to follow him as he wants to teach you something outdoors. You reluctantly follow him. He takes you to a cave which provides shelter from the rain. He removes the **** shield.

Jereli: Today you are going to learn how to use the **** to shield yourselves from such danger as this rain. I have shown you how to do it, I will show you a few more times and instruct you how to do it, but you are going to have to learn it before the talks between master Yoda and Dooku are over!

Drek: But that could be over at any moment!

Jereli: All the more reasons to pay attention and learn it quickly! Get started! I'll show you how!

He shows how to channel the **** to cover your bodies, you all attempt it multiple times but none of you really succeed in it... The minutes pass... Almost an hour has gone by by now, but neither of you can use a **** shield...

Lana: Come on, this can't be done in such a short time!

Ranvi: Yes, we would need at least days if not weeks to be able to do that! This is nonsense!

Jereli: It seems you aren't taking your lesson seriously enough! We are on a mission, you could be attacked any moment, you have no time to waste! You are no longer padawans, you are Jedi knights now! Act accordingly!

Drek: But you ask the impossible! We have never used such techniques before, it takes a whole lot of time to learn one!

Jereli: I think you could learn faster under pressure... Very well... Out to the rain, all of you!

Lana, Ranvi, Drek: What...?!

Jereli: You can only learn if you are in real danger, your instincts will guide you to learn faster! That is the point of today's lesson!

Drek: But we will get killed multiple times by the acid before we can learn to protect ourselves...!

Jereli: You won't... I'll give you a helping hand to prevent any serious or permanent damage to your bodies... At first...

Ranvi: Sounds great...

Jereli: Get started!

You reluctantly get out in the acidic rain... At first you are really afraid what will happen... but Jereli really protected you so far.

Jereli: Better get going or you will get roasted soon!

You keep trying as best as you could, but still nobody succeeds...

Jereli (coming out of the cave): It seems you guys just need a bit more pressure than... Alright...

Lana: Master, what are you...?

Jereli: I am going back to the ship. I will keep your shields up until I return there, once I am back at the hangar your shields will be no more. That is the time limit you have to learn it! You are only allowed to follow me once I get there, so you will have to shield yourselves on the return journey or you will parish.

Ranvi: Master this is madness! You can't do that!

Jereli: I have done worse in the past, haven't I?

Drek: Well, yes, certainly...

Jereli: And you have all survived, haven't you?

Lana: Yes... But barely at times...!

Jereli: All those lessons made you stronger, this one will too! Meet me back at the ship once you are ready! Use your frustration to fuel your connection to the ****!

He leaves and you are left to keep trying... You keep trying as hard as you can but you seem to have no progress so far...

Lana: Damn this, this will never work!

Drek: I agree, with our skills, we can never make it in time!

Ranvi: By the ****, I did it! I can't believe it!

Lana: Did she...?

Drek: Yes, the **** is clearly visible flowing around her!

Ranvi: I have just managed to do so! I can't believe it!

Lana: Ranvi, what is that greenish thing that flows with the ****?

Ranvi: Well... That is from my nightsister magic. I have seen how the others were using similar magics on Dathomir and I figured out if I fuse it with my **** shield technique, it might just work and it really did! Whohou!

Drek: You know, in times like these, I feel it sucks being a simple human...

Lana: We aren't simple human, we are Jedi! And we can do this our way, can't we?!

Drek: Yes, we will have to if we want to stay alive!

You two keep trying, but the results are all the same... You just can't form a **** shield!

Drek: Okay, I give up, master will get to the hangar any moment now and our shields will be no more... We are done for!

Lana: Don't give up Drek, we can still do this! Ouch! What the...?

You felt a painful sting on your arm.

Ranvi: Oh no! Your shields are fading!

Drek: It seems our time to practice is about to be over... Get back to the cave!
