Jenny Calendar

Reaching Sunnydale High the first person Xander actually saw was Jenny Calendar, recent pariah among the Scooby gang for her secret keeping, getting out of her car in the parking lot. And when it came to her keeping her past as Romani and the key to Angels curse a secret made Xander wonder.... Wonder which of the two did she regret more now. Did she regret not telling everyone in the Scooby gang or that Buffy fucked Angel and broke the curse. The first meant she would be on team Scooby.

The second meant she was in it for herself and her Romani family. Xander frowned. He didn't much care for people who betrayed family. Loyalty to your people, your family was something Xander held near and dear to his heart. And the Scooby gang was his family that he held first and foremost in his heart. Only this time it was his family that had been betrayed by someone who held their own real family first and foremost in their own heart.

Well it was time to find out where her loyalties really lay.

"Hey, Missus C." Xander called out and waved at her.

She turned and gave him a surprised look, "Oh, hey, Xander."

Walking up to her by her car Xander cleared his throat, "So... um... weird question but... uh... for my own piece of mind..." Xander paused. How was he going to know if she answered because of his power or just because she wanted to answer the question. Could he word the question in such a way that would make it obvious that the power was working? No. Not in two seconds. He should have planned this out. Still, too late now.

"Yes?" Jenny asked.

Shaking himself Xander plowed forward, "Right, sorry, so if you could change the past, erm, no... wait. Lemme put it like this; instead of doing what you did and not telling us about Angel's curse would you rather have told us about the whole being Romani/Angel's curse thing or just stopped Buffy from boning Angel?"

Jenny answered but to Xander's amazed eyes it didn't seem like she was consciously answering. There was no eye rolling and sarcastic answer or a frustrated huff with a furrowed brow in anger. Instead it was like watching a person on autopilot as if she had **** in answering or not. Like a bad movie where a person did a bad job acting hypnotized with the monotone voice and blank stare. It was creepy but it was pretty solid proof that he now had a magic power.

"I would have stopped Buffy from boning Angel." Jenny droned.

While he wasn't surprised he was was disappointed. Xander had held a little hope that Jenny Calendar would be on team Scooby. Or at the very least team Giles given the way she obviously wanted to bone him. But apparently she was team Romani all the way.

What did surprise Xander was the fact that he now knew his power worked beyond a shadow of a doubt. And it was indeed a powerful power. So powerful it rewrote history. Xander had a second set of memories for the past two months. Two months where Angel was still Angel. Two months where Buffy and Angel still hadn't boned one another.

He had at his finger tips phenomenal cosmic power so long as he worded a binary question correctly?

"H-h-hoooooly shit." Xander stammered.
