Jen restrains herself.

The girl grabbed a pair of chained anklets and shut them around her ankles. Still not sure if she did the right thing, she went back to the bench. Her steps had to be much shorter, but her shoes added some skipping and hopping to them.

With relief, Jen hugged the bench with both her arms as the enchanted red shoes seized full control of her feet, moving them around. The chains kept them from moving more than 10 inches from each other, limiting their efforts to reach the floor.

In an especially wild swing, the girl felt her ligaments stretch greatly and her toes reaching all the way back up to her hair. A moment later, snippets of darkness flashed before her eyes, followed by pushing feeling under her chin.

It was the chain! Whether through accident or self-destructive intent, but it found its way onto her neck. The thought of being stuck in such unnatural position frightened Jen to her very core. She released the bench and rushed her hands to the rescue, losing her balance on the bench.

Driven by the adrenaline, she managed to coordinate all four of her limbs to get her precious neck out of trouble and allow her legs to spring away from her head. With that, she fell onto the floor, but it did not hurt as much as it could because of its temperature.

The girl climbed onto the bench again, breathing heavily, still not sure what just happened. The red shoes lied sidewards on the floor, defeated, while the shiny ankle cuffs were both still and there. She touched their smooth surface carefully, as if to calm herself down.

"...thank you?"

The second voice that was following her the entire time was gone. The bigger picture was making its way back into her conscience.

"Out. Out of here. Now."
