Jen adjusted her glasses. Pressed the download icon. A part of her knew that this was a prank sent by her coworker and she would be stuck in a damned if she did and damned if she didn’t position. The app would most likely post to a Facetube group that the popular girls were a part of, if she didn’t then they would call her out, and if she did use the program they would call her out. Jen slipped her phone into her purse and sighed, she looked at herself in the mirror by her apartment door. She wasn’t ugly… Five foot six in her flats, maybe she was a bit under weight, but all too often she had been told she was just to shy to be pretty. It with a sigh she thought of her friend in school, and how once she got her powers, she became one of the Cool Mutants and left her behind.

“No,” Shante said dismissively, “We are all on the Hotel game, Jack in accounting managed to unlock an expansion pack for us for free.”
“Just wondering,” Jen said as she ate her sandwich…
“If something comes up we will let you know…” Shante said with a smile that meant she was lying.

“Harem?” Michelle thought for a minute, “I don’t know about that, but I wouldn’t mind an app that sent me naked pictures of Ryan Remolds automatically…”
“I figured it was a scam, but with some of the weird names for games that get shared around the office,” Jen said trying to be innocent.
“Yeah the ‘hunky hunky hulk’ was a hoot,” Michelle said, “Too bad they put pay walls on all the sexy bits.”

“Don’t bother me,” Sarah snapped.
“Yeah, Leave me alone…” Kelly said as well.
Jen knew they were only pretending to be busy, but decided to not press the issue.

Jen kicked off her shoes as she closed the door behind her. She looked around her apartment and sighed. She still had old posters of the Disney movies from when she was growing up. She even had new ones. When she had bought them, people would ask if she was getting them for her nieces… and being as timid as she was, she lied and just said “yes.” If Jen had had siblings then she would at least have someone to talk to about her problems, maybe even nieces and nephews to visit…
“Lets see what I missed at work?” Jen muttered as she took out her phone.
There were no calls, no messages, just the alert that the scam program had downloaded… Jen resided herself to at least check it out before turning off the phone and using that as an excuse to buy a new one…
The interface was nice, a wood panel boarder around the sides of the screen with an pop up asking if she wanted a tutorial. Jen tapped the “No” icon and an animation of a fairy in lingerie flew out and kicked the prompt out of the way before blowing a kiss at where the camera would be.
