Jedi Order in Need of Money ( Clone War Era)

( All characters have been aged up to be at least eighteen)

Yoda and the rest of the Jedi council where in a secret emergency meeting. The Clone War has been going on for over five years. What was expect to be a year long war at best has turned into a slog. Both the Republic and Separatists where nearly bankrupt, yet neither side would yell an inch. To continue to support the war both the Senate(Republic) and Parliament (Separatists) have started cutting anything not connected to the war. Sadly with the Jedi with their ever increasing loses. The Senate finally decided to start cutting their funds.

"This is outrageous !" Shouted Master Mundi, as he and the other looked over the coming cuts.

"I have to agree, this will practically put the Order out of commission." Said Master Windu, frowning. These new rounds of budget cuts where the most drastic he every saw.

"I know but the Order is down to less two thousand. Plus, with the new officer corp created by Tarkin. We are no longer need in the leadership of the military." Said Master Kenobi, he sighed. It wasn't like the Jedi where trained for commanding a military. He hated it but Tarkin's officer corp where far more affective then the Jedi.

"But we been the guardians of the Republic for well over a thousand years. The Senate can't just abandoned us." Said Master Fisto, folding his arms.

"Troubling, troubling." Said Grand Master Yoda, as he shook his head. He knew something like this was going to happened. The war have practically taken over the Republic. Every bill, every meeting and every credit was about or going to the war. The Chancellor have many times apologize to them about the cuts, but he said he had ****. The Republic needed to continued the war and with the Jedi's falling numbers. Plus Tarkin's new officer corp, the Senate saw the Jedi as a burden.

"We have to do something." Said Master Ti, as Togruta master put down the datapad. They can't let the Jedi be dissolved like this. So the council continued to argue over the budgets cuts but finding no solution.
