Jasmine

So here's the thing. One of my favorite classes aside from choir, is dance. Partly because it counts towards P.E. credits. Mainly though, it's because my friend Jasmine is the captain of the dance company.

Anyway, it's toward the end of our senior year when the dance coach pulls me aside. Stepping into her office, I see my friend there as well.

"What's up, coach?" She smiled and gestured to Jasmine. "For our end of year assembly, I'm having the members of the dance company partner with some of my second and third year dance students in order to come up with some interesting choreography. Miss Estrada here has picked you."

"That sounds amazing. I would love that."

Jasmine spoke up, "we'll be meeting this Saturday to go over ideas and start practicing. Be thinking of what you would like to try. Inspiration can come from anywhere." She then smiled and left. I went home soon after.
