Jasmine's Headband

Jess picked up Jasmine's turquoise headband. The blue sapphire that glimmered in the sunlight.

"How much for this?" Jess asked her eyes transfixed on the gemstone.

"You have a good eye for quality," said the merchant. "Many women wish to be treated like royalty."

He gave her the price.

"Yes," Jess said, keeping her eye on the sapphire. Her hand rummaged through her purse on its own.

After the transaction was done she walked down the street still examining the stone.
