January Teacher Work Day: Leah doesn't give into Mr. Bill's demands (Silence: -25, Luck: +40 )

Leah shook her head. She wasn’t going to give into Mr. Bill’s demands. She was willing to take the risk.

“I think you should go.” she said crossing her arms defensively.

“You sures you wants to do that?” Mr. Bill asked his eyes narrowing on Leah’s face. There was an awkward moment of silence.

“I am NOT doing anything like that—for you.” Leah said with sneer.

“Hmmmm I sees. Well Miss Leah you best be careful. Who knows who might see this film of you…” He began to make his retreat toward the door.

“I think you might best reconsider. Think of yo’ career and yo’ sweet little fiance.”

“Please. Leave.” Leah said fighting back tears of rage, dispair, guilt?

“I’ll be seeing yous again Miss Leah.” he slammed the door on his way out. She knew it wouldn’t be the first time he came to her about this. Even so—she felt relieved that he was gone. And she knew she had done the right thing. She had too much love for Jonathan, or was it pride?
