Chapter 4 by Cantraps Cantraps

What is her name?

Janet van Dyne

"She passed out before she could give me her name, but her ID says she's Janet van Dyne."

"You mean the... the superhero?" said the nurse.

"If you say so. I don't really follow that stuff, I'm more into baseball" said Officer Kowalski. "Look, is the paperwork all done? Can I sign her over to you?"

"Of course. We'll make sure she's ok. I've given her a tetanus jab for the bite. I'm sure she'll be fine in a day or two."

"Good. I'll be back tomorrow to take her statement then, and maybe... buy you a coffee?"

Nurse Alvarez sighed. She was used to this. Something about the way she looked made people think she was available. She worked out and looked after what she ate. For her, looking good was a side-effect. It probably didn't help that she'd lost two buttons earlier that day thanks to a struggling stab victim and now the inner sides of her breasts were forming a shadowy cleavage that was very much on display, no matter how hard she tried to hide it..

"Sorry, your not my type, if you know what I mean."

"Oh... Oh, I see. No worries, just the statement then. See you tomorrow."

Rachel watched him go. He wasn't bad looking, she guessed, if you swung that way. Nurse Alvarez definitely did not. Her attention turned back to the injured superhero in the bed. She was a lot more Rachael's type. Tight body, sculpted bob, stunningly beautiful face and perfectly kissable lips. Why were all these superheroines so hot? Was it genetics? There were rules against asking out a patient, but if the famous Wasp made the first move Rachel would definitely say yes. Rachel daydreamed about their first date. Dinner in a fancy place. Wasp would choose, she had all the right connections, then back to Janet's place for some steamy love making. Janet's husband walking in on them... Damn.

Back in reality Rachael thought Janet really shouldn't have been asleep so long, it was nearly dark. It was just a small bite and the blood she'd lost should have been replaced by the transfusion. The bag of blood was nearly empty so Rachel grabbed another out of the fridge and hooked it up. The constant beeping in the background told Rachel that her patient's heart beat was slow, but steady. She guessed superhero training was good cardio.

As the sun finally dipped below the horizon the light in the room dimmed. Nurse Alvarez walked over to the light switch. As she reached towards it she heard a moan from behind her.

"Finally, you're awake," she said, turning to see Janet van Dyne hungrily sucking on the blood tube she'd ripped from her arm. She'd finished the new bag in seconds, letting the final few drops flow down her delicate chin.

"More," hissed the Wasp, grinning to reveal a pair of sharp fangs, dripping with blood... "Give me more."
