Janet jumps into the fray

Janet stared down, trying to steady her breath. Was she really about to jump off this roof into a fight with these two again? And yet, she knew she had ****. Her mother was right, she was her father's daughter, and couldn't turn her back on people in danger.

Hands shaking, she stood. Then, dipping her knees she plunged off the roof, falling through the air. She landed hard, this time intentionally, shattering the concrete as she ended up between and Cutlass. Both women were knocked sideways by the impact. Janet grimaced as her shoes exploded on impact. Yet another clothing item destroyed by trying to be a superhero!

The two villians recovered quickly. The looked to each other, both smiling.

"You were right, this lured her out." Recoil said.

"Yup, and now she's all ours." Cutlass grinned.

"Wait, you guys did all this... to get to me?" Janet said, incredulous. They had robbed a bank, and caused millions in property damage just to get her out here?

"That's right." Recoild drew her knew, enhanced shotgun as Cutlass drew her two energy blades. "This time we'll show you not mess with the best..."
